Smallville Season 8!

When? What ep?

I think the episode where he wished he never came to earth. Then he sees what would have happend and Lex was president. He took the advice from Lois, who didn't know him, to act as a reporter for the daily planet. This all before he actually joined daily planet

And sadly the limping horse called Smallville drags on....and on....and on....

Grow a pair and fly Clark, be superman already. If they're going to do the Justice League, Superman needs time for independant adventures before JL forms. Bleh the story lines suck, IMO.

why do I keep watching? Hope for Superman to show? I suck for watching.

I forgot to mention stop calling the show Smallville when it is really Dramaville.

i couldn't agree with you more :(

Damn! I thought that was scene meant he finally got his secret identity in place and this scene would happen later in the season! :(

This episode was rubbish. I thought last week's was boring but this was even worse. Oliver's storyline was a little better than the Clark/Lana one. Can't believe they brought back 'tremor sex'!! As if it wasn't bad enough the first time around.

At least Lana's finally off the show, something which should have happened 2-3 season's ago.

I don't get it. They had a couple of very good episodes followed by filler crap. Are the writers not capable of coming up with more than 4-5 'very good' episodes a season? Surely they could have had Doomsday feature while still setting up nice arc leading to the finale...

Is it just me or is the actor that plays Clark one of the worst actor currently on TV. He always sounds like his just reciting his lines (A.k.a cue card).

I agree

Also so sick of the on / off again lana + clark crap ; its so boring

Also annoyed at the lame way they ended the Lex story arc (i wanted a good showdown with lex + clark, not just a boring explosion)

i also agree! (also one can say this about smallville since season 1)

I kinda like his "relaxed" style of acting. It makes the show watchable for me.

wow, a decent episode(compared to last one) gets ruined by never ending lona & clark cheese-fest.

what the hell happened to jimmy & lois ? no mention of them in 3 episodes, lol.

I was thinking the same thing. The last thing I remember is Chloe mentioning something about switching spots with her cousin to keep an eye on Jimmy.

WTF is Chloe still doing in Metropolis anyway? You'd think that having just tied the knot, she'd want to be by her husband's side. Yet here she is carrying on running the Isis Foundation like nothing's happened. Come on, surely the writers aren't so stupid to have missed this.

That looks good, but don't all trailers? I hope they finally move the story forward, although exposing himself like that seems....over the top?

I have a feeling there will be some sort of "undoing" event where everything gets reset to before he told people about himself.

No need to wonder whether "Smallville" will be back for a ninth season. Or if "Supernatural" will have yet another outing.

The CW has renewed six shows Tuesday, including both "Smallville" and "Supernatural," showing the world that despite its sagging ratings, it's here to stay ... at least for now.

By all accounts, the current season of "Smallville" was supposed to be its final one. The creators had left before the start of the season, as did the show's big bad guy, Michael Rosenbaum's Lex Luthor. But the new creative team provided a spark to the show that no one saw coming, and ratings -- while slightly off from last year -- are much stronger than expected. In fact, "Smallville" remains one of The CW's highest-rated shows.

Viewing numbers were not a question mark for a return of the show at all. In fact, it seemed the only sticking point was coming to terms with series star Tom Welling for a ninth season, a contract that apparently has been signed with the renewal.

"Supernatural" has been a solid lead-out show for "Smallville," and some consider the pairing of the two genre programs as the best one-two punch on any network's schedule. While both shows don't pull too much from the female audience The CW has been trying to attract, it still remains an anchor to the network's overall schedule.

One show that is now sitting on the bubble, however, is "Reaper." No decision has been made on that show quite yet as its second season doesn't even premiere until next week. Once it gets a few episodes under its belt, it's likely The CW will make a decision on whether it will see a third season or not.

Chances aren't good for the show, however. The CW, in renewing six programs and already announcing plans for at least two more tied with its "90210" and "Gossip Girl," has very little room on its schedule, meaning it might be easier to cut loose shows like "Reaper" if it's not pulling in the audiences needed.
