Well, I was hoping to hop on this evening after work, but seeing as how I've heard server queues are ridiculous, that might not be so easy. It's good that the game is doing well already, but damn they better put more servers up for opening day lol.

Collector's Edition pre-order Head Start started Sunday (09/14/08).

European Standard Edition pre-order Head Start started yesterday (09/15/08).

North America Standard Edition pre-order Head Start starts today (09/16/08).

Retail Release is this Thursday (09/18/08).

Pretty sure it's 40

I'm taking it slow, enjoying the game - Also doing PQ's way above my level, getting some very sweet items I can't even use by leaching off of others :laugh: XP is great too. I even won a few times and got some sweet epic items.

Currently Rank 14 / Renown 12.

But what is up with the Windowed mode? I run two screens, one where I watch movies etc. So when I have Windowed mode enabled it allowed to me to click the other screen but when I do, game goes to 10FPS and it's not really in a proper window ...

Been looking into this game, but I have some questions, wondering if you guys can help me out...

How much coin will it cost on the 18th ( tomorrow ) for USA?

The level cap is 40, correct?

AoC was lame and overhyped, and WoW gets old after a few years of the same thing (Even WotLK looks like more of the same recolored garbage) ... Hence, why i'm looking into it ._.

Wow, I just got sick of my Chosen :laugh: God damnit it's such a boring class to play, specially when everyone from here to Narnia is playing either a Marauder or Chosen, so no heals either. Run in, get two hits in, die.

So now I changed realm, side and class - Karak-Hirn as a Warrior-priest, already a lot more fun (Y)

      Nothing is stopping you from continuing with your testing cadence. If updates are released every 2 weeks instead of 4, and you test once every 4 weeks, the exact same amount of patches will still be available for you in those 4 weeks. For example: Before 4th week - patch 1, 2, 3, 4 After 2nd week - patch 1 and 2 4th week - patch 3 and 4 Still the same amount after 4.

      Everyone else has said it. I'm gonna say it - you don't know what you're talking about. I do. I have two laptops. One work, one personal. I have access to two more laptops - both personal. At home I manually update my personal laptop when I see on Neowin that there is an update - I carry on and only apply the updates when I am ready. My work one only updates when my workplace decides to send it - I carry on and only apply the updates (when they actually arrive, which is usually days after the release) when I switch off the laptop at the end of the day as usual. The two other personal laptops only get updated when I get to it which is rarely - the people who own them carry on using them until I get to it and update them. All of the browsers on all laptops are configured to restore the tabs when launched. Google and Microsoft have changed from 6 weeks to 4, and it looks like it's going to move to 2. None of these changes affect how any of these browsers on the laptops are used. Not one jot. My advice to you is stop panicking whenever you see an update. Just carry on with what you're doing. This even benefits you in a way - from your comment you sound like you don't like the changes or the frivolous new features - great - then carry on as before!
