Can't delete VLC files

Urm i downloaded 2 videos, both vlc player (my default player for movies)

But when i delete them they both don't delete...

I'm in vista sp1, and i've tried safe mode, nothing..

Example: in the pic, it stays as that for hrs, yes i left it on for 2hrs and it stayed like that. Wont delete.

anyideas on how to delete as i think this is my problem with my explorer crashes, some thing in my download folder triggers my explorer.exe to crash!

Try unlocker.exe ... "http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/"

Try if Movefile from sysinternals works.

You will have to reboot your system after you run movefiles.

Use Unlocker like Jonny posted, works every time.

Have you tried using Unlocker?

It severs all the processes linking to the file you're trying to delete. Free too!

Got me out of a couple of irritating situations now and then.

See that green progress bar in the address bar? That means that Vista reading current directories to fetch thumbnails and other small info from the files. Probably that's the reason you can't delete the files (and lol at those filenames :D ).

Try to log-off your current user and delete them after login.

uninstall VLC, reboot, delete files, re-install VLC. Should take about 10-12 mins
