Buy a Gears of War 2 Lancer...

Recommended Posts

We've always been envious of Marcus Fenix from the Gears of War franchise. Not because of his cunning or rugged good looks, but because of his ruthlessness when it comes to taking on the Locust Horde. A major part of his weapons cache has always been the Lancer; part automatic rifle, part chainsaw. You've always thought how cool it would be if you could get you hands on a Lancer and now Amazon.com is giving you that chance!

Pre-order the Amazon.com Exclusive Lancer and get the Standard Edition of Gears of War 2 free* or upgrade your order to the Limited Edition for an extra $10. Offer limited to products shipped and sold by Amazon.com. Promotion ends on November 7, 2008 at 11:59PST. Offer good while supplies last. See Details.

I can't imagine anyone paying this much for a toy gun... unless of course you are into collecting these things...

Meh. The chainsaw doesn't move, and it doesn't shoot anything. It just makes sounds. And I can't tell what the size of it is since Amazon's site is retardedly slow today and the pictures won't load.

So you expect it to be a real weapon?

Yup, I would expect something more for that price...And for some reason I thought of a Gears of War 2-themed Mitsubishi Lancer when I read the thread title :p

That's what I was thinking too :p

I think it looks cool, but I don't have that kind of money to throw around anymore for novelty items.

LOL You two are not the only ones...

As this thread was loading I was thinking to myself, hmm, so you buy a Mitsubishi Lancer and you get a copy of GoW2? That would be a pretty funny incentive with today's gas prices for buying a car haha..

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
