Force Unleashed demo on August 21

Yeah, IMO I think its still beta code and will likely be eliminated in the final version. Its a relief this game works well though, I was beginning to lose faith in LA. The thought of sequels is somewhat nice, it'd be great to see something post ROTJ built using this. Also isn't the next Indy game using this engine? if so it should be pretty neat and I wouldn't be suprised to see various media popping up for it.

Just had a quick go at at just now, has a lot of potential and could turn out to be an awesome game :) However, the constant pausing is very annoying and ruins the experience (for me anyway). If they can fix that, I think they'll have a winner on their hands

Maybe you have to be a gold member to download it, I'm not sure.
Does this demo require xbox live points to play/download or is it just free?

Let's clear this up:

Demo's are free!

Any member (Gold or Silver) can download and play demo's!

Goldmembers get some demo's a few days earlier!

I wish the demo was a little longer, the gameplay was fun but it also seemed like it could get repetitive very quickly so it would have been nice to see how they changed up the encounters and level design as the game progressed. Also, the scene in the little teaser video at the end where he is crashing a Star Destroyer looks awesome :woot:

    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn guns and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.

    • Recycle Bin has been broken for literal YEARS now. The setting to delete files older than 30 days from the bin which is on by default doesn't even work. I have files older than 4 months in it and they are just there still...
