Force Unleashed demo on August 21

I wish the demo was a little longer, the gameplay was fun but it also seemed like it could get repetitive very quickly

I thought the same thing too. I wonder how the game would be if they designed it with RPG elements...such as you didn't start out with all of the force powers and blocking ability and light saber combos, and had to gain them by leveling up.

oh...I didn't know I gained that ability...I thought I just didn't know about it LOL

Maybe you didn't, it was an upgrade to the already existing one, it was pretty damn big on the screen when they tell you the upgrade happens, so you just might not have gotten it. If I recall correctly, I got it using it on some stormtroopers for fun.

Oh BTW, I have not chimed in, but I really like this game. 1st Say rental for me from Gamefly though, definitely not a purchase.

nah I definitely got it..I just didn't know it was an upgrade because I didn't read any of the popups in detail cuz I was too focused on f'n s*** up! LOL

Yeah that makes sense, as I think no matter what one gets the upgrade to check it out. Duh.

I just figured out a few interesting moves when I was messing about. If you jump then jump again at the peak you can extend your jump, if you use your lightsaber (Square) doing this he slams it down on the ground killing anyone nearby. You can also throw your lightsaber if you force grab something'/someone and use your lightsaber (Square).

For the first few days, yes. Eventually Silver members will be able to download it as well, but Gold members get first dibs.

which only gives me time to get used to it on my ps3 and buy it on there when it comes out. so ms loses their commission again by doing this.

oh and game is great

I tried this demo out on the PS3, but thanks to the contollers I'll probably buy it on my xbx360. Seems like it'll be a fun game and even the little quick time event to destroy the AT-ST didn't really detract from it. The camera was a lil weird but I think thats most likely me not being able to use the ps3 controller well

okay cool...so it's confirmed that you do gain experience and level up different abilities as well as upgrade light saber abilities and color. Every level has a different costume as well.

dude, I just filled the cup.

I've played the demo multiple times on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. It's great!

I found a hidden Sith emblem on my most recent playthrough. In the TIE Fighter hangar, there's a walkway in the center of the room, up near the roof. You have to get onto the top of the wrecked ship, then double-jump and Force Dash at the peak of your second jump to make it onto the walkway. It gives you the Health Drain power-up.

double jump should be all you need, for me anyway, i guess my force powers are stronger than yours, young jedi!
