Every major Microsoft first-party game dated

Recommended Posts

Microsoft's recent announcement that Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts will launch on November 14 means that every game in Microsoft's first-party 2008 line-up has finally been given a solid release date. No more guessing!

And that means that, unless any of the following games bow down to some unexpected slippage, 360 gamers can start their saving their pennies and figuring out how they're going to juggle multi-card payments to mum and dad until Christmas brings them some much needed cash. You're looking at buying a game a month. Credit crunch? My arse...

* Viva Pi?ata: Trouble in Paradise - Microsoft has dated Rare's family friendly follow-up with September 5. Loads more Viva action to be found here.

* Gears Of War 2 - Epic's Cliffy B revealed at E3 that a November 7 release date has been pinned down for the shooter. More Gears than is probably good for you here.

* Fable II - The game will ship to US retailers on Oct. 21 while we have to wait an extra few days for Oct. 24. Release dates throughout the rest of the world are expected "in the coming months". Take a look at some movies here.

* Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts - Hot off the press, it's been dated for November 14. Hit this link for some crazy pre-order plans.

* Too Human - Silicon Knights' long-awaited bruiser (out in the US today) will be out in Europe on August 29. It's already causing quite a stir across the internet. Read the review here.

As a side note we should point out that Lips is down for 'holiday 2008' and Halo Wars has slipped into 2009. But there's also a new dashboard to look out for this autumn that'll do fancy Nintendo-like things.

Christmas on 360 is looking good then. Can't believe we're already talking about it though...

    • There really isn't anything magical about the low latency profile, other OS's do this as well. All they're doing is using your CPUs boost clock options in a more smarter way.
    • So we shouldn't have the option because of people using their laptops on battery? OK? LOL
    • If you hear that fans for a limited time the CPU spikes to open a app I don't think the problem is with the software. There shouldn't be enough time spent at the higher clocks to produce enough heat to peak the fans. Maybe it's time to crack those dell laptops open and clean them out?
