[Official] Too Human

Recommended Posts

^ Once you choose different character class then you can use it I think, it might be also that if you choose human or cyborg settings. But I am surprised to see in the game if you choose a human augmentation.

I chose Cyber.

Some bits in this game are pure ridiculous with the amount of enemies and such. Yes I know its meant to have them but some areas you just cant do it without dying. It might be that I am still getting used to the game though.

Only found that out about 5 mins ago, with your right stick move it down, your weapon will jab it, well the sword I was using at the time made it explode :D

Anyone able to tell me how to stop your character being on fire for so long, ****ing me off when something explodes near me and you lose so much health cause you're on fire for the next like 30 seconds.

Also, any tips for destroying those damn spiders that slam to the ground to give off some attack that's a purple colour, really annoying me!

When you're on fire use the old addage, stop, drop and roll. Basically roll on the floor for a bit and it will put it out :) Have yet to find a way of getting rid of the green haze which depletes your energy too :(

The floating spider things annoy me :( bets bet is to just get a long range weapon get it in range and start firing whilst backing away, only way I have found. Jumping when it releases the purple attack does nothing, whereas jumping when the big robots use the orange attack jumps over it saving you damage.

About the spider look at the attack distance and stay away from their use you pistols or grenade launcher to cut the armor and health. Also to avoid the blast while backing away from spider when you see the spider get it's legs up to slam the ground just roll away from the attack (while pulling left stick down + press B). Try couple of time and you will get hang of it, took me halfway in the game to realize how to avoid getting hurt in that attack, and close quarter combat with spider is a death sentence (much like playing this game).

Currently at a area where there are 3 big robots, two which have grenade launchers, 2 spiders with the purple jump and about 30 of those damn green things that fire purple rays from a distance. Died about 4 times, sometimes I die the moment I am spawned because there is simply nothing you can do. Way over the top imo. Of course every time you die your weapons and armour needs repairing which costs far too much in retrospect to what the game gives you!

Those blast moves that the enemies do into the ground are glitchy as hell. I would be way out sometimes and still get hit

I can't believe there is no sprint either, you can't run away from the action to rethink and go back and attack.

Rolling with fire doesn't do anything for me.

Also, maybe just me but if there is an obscene amount of monsters on the screen, your player just doesn't do any of the commands you tell it to do. Just stands there without swinging the weapon :s

Oh well, on with the game, need to give co-op a go also.

Should be around later for co-op hopefully, been playing Mercs 2, not great but worth a play as I liked the first. Reason why I suggested complete the game first is that there is no distinction between your character playing single player and co-op so I don't know if the finish a level etc achievements are obtainable when played through in co-op, basically you don't get a different save slot etc, unless you create a different character :(

So I should complete the SP first before doing Co-OP, okay will get on to it.

I am slowly getting better at the game, learning news things and such.

I am loving the whole Armour and Weapons, its nice to see some cool items. Also cool how you see all your stuff in the cut scenes (Y) Just wish blue print items weren't so expensive, same for the items that are Orange which I have just started getting!

Just got to level 23 I think. Spider is so useful in some places as you really need it imo.

Only just discovered last night there were other skills to unlock when you press right trigger also :$

Couple of annoyances, your weapon can just slice through enemies and not register the hit. Gun aiming likes to turn itself off sometimes and shoot somewhere totally random. Going through your items screen can be slow, especially going along from like weapons to runes using the trigger buttons.

Does anyone know how the sentient weapon works ?

how it recharges or when it refreshes or whatever. it's not explained anywhere. heck it took me forever to even notice the wolf head icon. so I was randomly clicking both sticks during hard fights before :)

you will be warned.

Sorry to bring it offtopic but no. You are not a mod so you cannot warn someone if he wishes to come in this thread, say "Too Human sucks" (as long he gives arguments) because its his opinion; Besides this is a talk about the game so negative and positive comments must be accepted.

On the game itself, it looks like a good idea but simple overused. Also, too bad its Xbox 360 only and not on PC or any other console. Enjoy the game the rest of you who like these types of games :)

Simply re-stating what that thread, that you obviously didn't read implies. So good job buddy. But it doesn't matter, since the policy is failing as I have seen no action in-regards to it, but I'll edit it for you Zape, don't want you to QQ anymore.

And to make this not a flamebait/troll post, as the above quoted I'll add something about the game.

Haven't played in awhile, I need to to finish my Elite set though. :(

Hmm just rented this today and so far I am not impressed at all. It took 10 years to make this!?!?!? What the hell were they doing for those 10 years? I am going to be honest, I am not a huge RPG fan but I did really like Oblivion and I am also looking forward to Fallout 3. But I will try it tonight but I might wind up taking it back and getting something else... :/

No clue .Kick, none of the site I frequent mentioned it so either it came out today, ninja style or it's nothing major.

Well according to this - http://www.toohuman.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3143 , it wasn;t much. Denis posted that was fixed some connectivity issues.

I completed the story earlier with Champion, its a good story, really hope they make the trilogy (Y)

Just started game again with Berserker earlier, that is now Human.

Need to get to level 50 on my Champion though, I got to lvl 29 but will level up in CO-OP since I hear twice as many enemies and you both get exp for every kill you both make.

Wow, played some co-op with BelGarath last night, man its hard, definitely a lot more enemies, nearly trolls everywhere but its so much fun (Y) CO-OP definitely makes the game so much better :)

Can't wait for some DLC for the game as well as a much needed patch for several things though.

    • I'm still on Windows 10 22H2 because I didn't want to deal with all the issues in Windows 11, so I waited almost a week before installing the latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5094127), I went ahead and did it, and it was a huge mistake—ever since then, my File Explorer has seen a performance drop of about 30% when transferring large files... Once again, Microsoft has outdone itself! This update cannot be uninstalled, either through the Control Panel (via Settings) or by accessing Advanced Startup Options. The only possible alternative would be to use system restore points, but I’d have to reinstall all app and driver updates (and there’s no guarantee it would work). Or there’s the “nuclear option” of a in-place repair without losing files or apps, but even then, all my customizations would be lost! Microsoft just can’t help but mess everything up! Way to go, Microsoft! But I still don’t want your c****y Windows 11!
    • Microsoft: Windows 11 could finally solve a major issue across AMD, Nvidia, and Intel GPUs by Sayan Sen While Microsoft has been trying to improve it, Windows 11 is definitely not flawless, as even today some issues are taking a year to publicly acknowledge. However, one area of trouble that may finally see much better results soon is graphics driver crashes. Work on graphics driver timeouts, also called Timeout and Detection Recovery (TDR), is not new as the latest WDDM 3.2 also has specific improvements regarding it. Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) version 3.2 is supported on Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2. However, with the upcoming version 26H2, TDR crash diagnosis could go to the next level as Microsoft is introducing a new DirectX 12 API feature called "DirectX Dump Files". Similar to how system memory dump files work when a system crashes or freezes or encounters any such major issue, DirectX Dump Files (DDF) will essentially record a snapshot of the GPU execution right at the moment a graphics-related crash or hang or freeze occurs, so that developers can better understand and diagnoze these TDR and timeout detection errors. The dump will be available as a .dxdmp file for analysis and it will be a comprehensive dump file generated with detailed insights about the hardware, drivers, Windows, as well as the affected application. This should be another welcome change in this department. Earlier at GDC 2026, when the technology was first debuted, Microsoft had shared more details regarding it. The company had explained how DDF is designed to gather data from every layer of the graphics stack into a single file, eliminating the need for developers to manually correlate logs from multiple tools. As mentioned above, the dump can contain a lot of useful details like GPU hardware state information such as register values, shader program counters, page fault virtual addresses, shader memory data, and command buffers. Alongside that, it also captures DirectX runtime and kernel information, including D3D objects, pipeline state objects, device error data, adapter details, and CPU call stacks. Microsoft says the feature has been built around two primary use cases: retail device removals and local device removals. The former allows developers to collect crash information from end users' systems in the field, while the latter helps QA teams and developers investigate issues on test machines. Developers will also be able to include up to 2 MB of custom application data through new D3D12 APIs, providing additional context for troubleshooting. In addition, Microsoft is introducing three dump collection modes ranging from zero-overhead capture, which has no runtime performance impact on supported hardware, to higher-detail modes that collect more vendor-specific debugging data. On compatible Tier 2 hardware, zero-overhead dumps will be enabled by default, meaning developers may begin receiving useful crash diagnostics without making any code changes. The table below explains the three tiers: Tier Description NO_OVERHEAD Enables crash capture with no runtime cost and is suitable for broad deployment MEDIUM_OVERHEAD Provides a balance, capturing additional diagnostic data with moderate impact HIGH_OVERHEAD Collects the most detailed GPU and driver state available, enabling deeper investigation at the cost of higher runtime overhead In terms of availability, the company expects broader release to be around the fall of 2026, which should be right around the time when Windows 11 version 26H2 lands. Right now, DirectX Dump Files are available as a preview and currently, only AMD has the compatible AgilitySDK Developer Preview driver version 26.10.07.02. You can find the official announcement post here on Microsoft's website.
