  1. 1. Who should lead on Destiny?

... and she has massive... breasticles!

I can see that she auditioned and they said: "you have large breasts, you mind a sex scene on your first shoot that won't compromise your credibility as a serious actress and isn't just for our enjoyment?"

win.

Holy ****, I did not see that coming! A really enjoyable episode although I am just waiting for the hates to pop on and say "its too slooooow!" but the pacing is great; Greer is a fascinating character and this was a pivotal episode.

The obvious question is, what the hell happens next??

What the hell? How they the hell are they going to get back now?! I don't think Rush will unlock the ship systems any time soon, and they can't gate infront of the ship. So they are stuck. I am thinking they gate back to the planet with the crashed ship, and somehow use that to contact communication Destiny. But even then, they can't get back to the ship. Unless they somehow repair the broken alien ship...?

yeah, I'm guessing chloe knows something... She seems to be able to read the text alright enough.

That's a Rancor, not the Cloverfield monster. :p

I think the series is really starting to grow now. Feels like they are building a basis for a "reboot" of the Stargate universe (hah).?

can it be a mixture of both? :p

Come one, it's painfully obvious, it's happened before and it's going to happen again.

Loved the last episode. Greer is definitely one of my favourites, they did some great character building for him during that episode. Lots of suspense, I was so sure they were about to make it back then Rush casually strolls in. Really looking forward to the next episode.

One thing I was wondering about, what was Rush looking for, certainly not the lost crew. He seemed to ignore everyone and was fixated on finding something. As for Chloe becoming a genius, meh, they had to do something with her character. As for getting back, I'm going to go with HawkMan on this one. They'll likely return to the crashed ship, either somehow make it work, or more likely, trigger the aliens to return and kidnap them once again. While it isn't the most original way to have them make it back, it makes sense. Then again, I didn't expect the events of the last episode to play out as they did so maybe they will throw us a curve ball. I'd be shocked if they didn't make it back in the next episode. Only 5 more left, you'd think they'd want the full cast together for the last few. Stargate usually ends with a cliffhanger finale, but I'd love it if they had closure in the finale. Then start Season 2 more or less fresh, instead of picking up where Season 1 ended.

Well, they could also return to the planet with the giant alien pillar and the broken shuttle. That could have some potential for them to get back to Destiny and it wouldn't be as predictable as using the same method as Rush.

Also, they finally explained how the gate system works. I was wondering why they could only dial 5 or so gates instead of all the gates in the galaxy. Also, the destiny seems to be moving a lot slower than I had imagined. Every time it jumps it only moves by maybe 5-10 gates. The ships in SG-1 and Atlantis seemed to be able to make it almost anywhere in the galaxy in a few hours.

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
