House - Season Five

Wilson had better not actually end up leaving the show. He's one of my favorite characters, and his relationship with House is one of the better parts of the show.

Wilson adds way to much to the show. They won't let him leave. House goes to talk to him next week and Wilson doesn't want to hear it. This will go on for a few episode and then Wilson will return.

It's that way with pretty much every TV show.

So here's an odd one. You know on House there's only been what, one case of lupus. Well my mother's second cousin recently passed away from lupus and today my boss's mother was diagnosed with lupus.

No her case is not as serious. It is officially called Drug-induced lupus erythematosus. Still serious and can lead to death if the person isn't treated.

I personally hated the ending of the last season and hated this new epp. house was a show that was just funny and threw in a couple of philosophical ideas....

the performance was great i am not debating that, but there is 100s of shows with great performance and complicated relationships between everyone.... change the channel and watch sex in the city if want to sit there for hours and watch other people live interesting lives that you want.

The show has always been about the relationships between House and the people around him. In fact, David Shore (the creator) has stated he wasn't necessarily creating the show for the medicine, but more for how people reacted to a Dr. who was so brilliant, yet so incredibly miserable.

A lot of people said the same thing when House's team left, yet I think the show is just as good with the new cast. I know the old team is still there, but for the most part, they're an afterthought. The show can be just as good, or better, without Wilson. Sometimes change isn't bad.

Well he obviusly didn't create the show for the medicine :) but luckily us laymen don't really notice that :)

I am an incredibly huge fan of House, but I can't help but feel that the show is in a rut. Last season was good with the switch up in cast and I think they pulled that off incredibly well. BUT, there needs to be side stories. They are driving the same exact conversations into the ground. It's deal with the patient, then deal with House's issues. The problem with this, is it seems every conversation seems the same. I hope they can get something working a little better.

    • Dead by Daylight, Two Point Museum, and more join Xbox Free Play Days for the weekend by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe There is a brand-new Free Play Days offer available to Xbox players, giving them a chance to try out a new selection of games over the weekend. Microsoft's latest promotion brings some high-profile titles, including the sports title PGA TOUR 2K25 and the racing sim Assetto Corsa. Almost all the games being offered this time require an Xbox Game Pass subscription, with only one title being available for all players. Starting with the fully free-to-play section, Dead by Daylight is populating it solo. This asymmetric survival horror title should be the most familiar to most gamers, considering its age. The multiplayer four-versus-one asymmetric survival horror game has you assuming the roles of survivors or the killer to see who can come out on top. This Dead by Daylight offer will be available to play until Monday, June 22, giving you an extra day of play compared to the remainder of the Free Play Days titles. Meanwhile, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can now try out the well-received tycoon game Two Point Museum, the circuit racing sim Assetto Corsa, as well as 2K's golf sim experience that gives players a career to develop alongside real-world pros and courses. Here are the announced games and the platforms they are available to play on: PGA TOUR 2K25 (Xbox Series X|S) Two Point Museum (Xbox Series X|S) Assetto Corsa (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) Dead by Daylight (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One) To easily find the titles on Xbox consoles, first head to the Store, and then in the sidebar, find the Home section. In there, open the Subscriptions tab. All the games from the Free Play Days collection will show up in this section for quick access. Apart from Dead by Daylight's offer, this week's Free Play Days promotions will end on Sunday, June 21, at 11:59 pm PT.
