House - Season Five

Recommended Posts

In the season finale, House is going to wake up from a coma that was caused from a blunt impact in his motorcycle accident in episode 19. Evidence:

- The foggy sequence from House's view during the last shot in episode 19 - the hint provider

- Kutner's suicide, the misdirection technique, in episode 20

- House's vision of Amber at the end of episode 21

- House's continued visions of Amber and other characters doing things like stripping (like Cuddy when House was unconscious in Season 4) in episode 22

- House's continued "perceived" insomnia in episode 23 (the word "perceived" is used in the official episode synopsis)

- In episode 24, the season finale, all this comes together (and Kutner died, except it was by carbon dioxide poisoning which was never confirmed to be suicidal or accidental, only that the talk of suicide around comatose House made him develop the story of gun shot suicide subconsciously - I thought he had of doing to himself previously). The end credits are accompanied by Radiohead's "No Surprises".

That would be awesome... I'm sure a tonne of people would be completely ****ed off with it, but that's why I'd love it :D... so out there

whoa! what an ending!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I can't wait :s

The only think I can think of is: House is still in a coma, amber never really died... But then again, they other two getting married is just added for confusion?!

Any ideas? sorta what dclark posted?

Also: damn I would've liked Hameron!!! :p Chameron sucks! NO brownie points for not banging cameron! :p

Wow I didn't know there was an involved House thread here on Neowin. Hooray!

Re: April 13 ep... Cameron's communication skills suck. They've always sucked. Though I'm relieved it wasn't some "Oh I have residual feelings for House" kind of thing.

I'll be pretty irritated if 1/3rd of the season was House being a coma though. That is not "edgy" or a "twist," it's a sign of desperation on the part of the writers. I hope they manage better than that. However, Amber appearing again certainly is interesting.

I think house went in a coma after that episode where that black guy was paralized... At the end of the episode, he gets in the elevator and his vision becomes sorta blurry.!!!

Either way!

OMG!I did like the ending

I'm glad i'm not the only one that noticed the screen went blurry when the elevator doors closed, thats been driving me crazy. I have literally thought about it every other day, about what it could possibly mean for the series...

YES SIR!!! Been driving me crazy! To many lose ends to tie up in 3 remaing episodes! My guess is he went in a coma because of the injuries he had during the motorcyle accident. But if he is in a coma, then all the cameron and chase doesn't makes sense to me :(

If only I was that lucky to get a hallucination like that! minus the coma or medical problem lol.

Yeah us mere mortals can only dream... I'd like to meet someone in real life who hallucinates so lively like that :p

Yeah, I do think the "Eureka" moments are cheesy. Funny thing is whenever it happens around Wilson, he asks House something like "your going to storm out the room now aren't you"

Yeah I agree, they're really cheesy. BUT you have to realize House and Wilson are much alike Sherlocke and Watson, that's what david shore says anyways :p

Althought I don't plan on going back and reading through this thread, I may be lost in this season I'm not sure. Why did Kutner kill himelf in episode 20?

Because hes going to work for the President, and they wanted a completely stupid way of killing off the character.

My random theory about the end of the season.

House's vision went blurry at the end of ep19 (with Mos Def), which was the start of a problem.

It's been getting worse, because House hasn't gone and gotten proper treatment for his bike crash, and Amber and that lot is his brain really screwed up.
