Recommended Posts

The son of legendary rap producer Dr Dre has been found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.

Andre Young Jr., 20, was unresponsive when his mother went to check on him around 10 A.M., calling 911 to alert paramedics.

Young?s cause of death is pending completion of a toxicology report.

His father, Andre Young Sr, is better known to the world as ?Dr. Dre?, an award winning producer who shot to fame as a pioneer of the influential gangsta rap group NWA, and becoming co-owner of West Coast record label Death Row records.

Later, he became popular for his discovery and production for white rap artist Eminem.

That sucks. I'm curious to see what Dre's son died of, perhaps drug overdose?

I dont think so.

His own dad does drugs, so it's not doubt really...

Dre only does weed and I don't think he even does that anymore.

That's just gonna delay his album further. Shame.

RIP

Yes. Another setback for Detox :(

First - I'm sorry for his loss.

Second - I was going to guess drive by, but then I Read he died in his home, so I changed it to drugs.

Why I would be sorry for someone that die because an overdose of drug?

maybe I read a different article... but I do not see the word "drug" anywhere... or is everyone just assuming this? Anyway... I would hope people could postpone judgement until the cause of death is provided... while rare... a 20 year old can die without it having to be an overdose... either way... its a shame to have to bury your child regardless of cause

It's ALWAYS drugs eh? How about heart failure, blood clot, PRESCRIPTION overdoes, seizure, or any of about a million other medical complications someone might have?

It has to be drugs! You know Dre is popping pills, shooting heroin, and smoking everything under the sun on a daily basis...his son probably got involved right after he came out of the womb. Duh, he's a rap musician.

Prescription overdose is still DRUGS. Everything else you named, how about NO? If he had any of those conditions, an autopsy would reveal it. His autopsy didn't reveal anything. That's why they're doing a toxicology report...

He didn't die from heart failure, bullet holes, bling snapping his neck, or anything else that leaves physical traces. It's DRUGS!

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
