i currently am on a campus, and connect to my PC left powered on in another country with real VNC, no problem with that.
i have a ServU running on that PC, and i can connect to it and transfer files back here.
of course all the ports are blocked, but file transfer works, and i even had bittorrent running
i tried setting up ServU here, but it is unable to get my public adress : 66.210.*.*, instead it finds me two local ip adresses : 10.0.13.2 and 127.0.0.1.
i am unable to connect on these of course, and i tried many other FTP servers and all give me the same results.
$100 per TB is disgusting especially when we have advanced so much in this area, it's because RAM, Flash memory costs so much that creating a small factor, lots of space drives are just through the roof in material requirements.
