GTA IV Private match problems

Hey guys,

Anyone know if you can (and how) create just a private match with friends only online in GTA IV? I created a party mode yesterday, which lets you play kinda but without any game modes or score. As soon as I try and join a match it hooks us up with lots of other people.

I just want to play deathmatch / team deathmatch and be able to select the map with my friends only like you can in COD4/Halo 3.

Any ideas?

You just need to maximize "Private Slots" in the phone menu, just before starting the lobby - Then you should be in a private lobby with you as host.
