why do flash videos crash my browsers?

Alright so both fully updated fire fox and IE crash almost every time i load flash videos. Sometimes Youtube, some time local tv stations videos that are playing on their websites. Completely locks up the browsers and then crashes. Anyone have any ideas as to why?

Also I've uninstalled, and reinstalled Flash, FF, IE. Yet it still does it. blah.

Maybe check/uncheck "Enable hardware acceleration" in flash settings (right-click a flash plugin, choose settings, leftmost tab)? Can't think of anything else that might be causing it.

A bit more info please, What OS? Running up to date? Including Drivers? Using Flash 10? If so did it start after Installing flash 10?
