Last thing I'd do was post on any board, personal information, let alone whats happening as regards the health of my family.

Anyway, I hope your father recovers well from this terrible situation.

umm, ok? wtf man. He's the president of a company...do you realize how many times I've had to explain his condition to people? I've been on Neowin for a long time. I have made a tons of friends on here. If i can just post it once and not tell them all individually then why wouldn't I? It's not a secret that he is sick. why would it be?

Anyways, thanks everyone...

As of right now he is exactly the same. There are some tests scheduled for today though.

Maybe I'll post more details as I get them. But since some people don't seem to like it then maybe I won't.

Hey man, my father had 2 strokes over the last 3 years. He wasn't "right" for a month or so - but now leads a health active life, playing golf, flying off to Portugal to do DIY jobs around the villa, etc. People can recover, and moreover DO recover.

Here's to your father blatantly ripping of my dad's idea: getting better!

I haven't been around much the last couple weeks anyways, but on Thursday my father had a stroke. I've been at the hospital for the last 2 days. Haven't really had any time to be here. Hopefully soon everything will be back to normal...

I am about to go back to the hospital soon, so I will go into further details when I get a chance.

I'm praying for you and dad.

      Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.

      Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
