Ear/head phones...

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody - i am just here to ask about what good ear buds (not the big ones that go over your ears have good bass?

Personally i love bass, without it - i probably wont listen to music unless its trance/techno/and so on...

now i have the Logitech sound cancelling earphones...

i got them about a year ago and only got them to try out big earphones, and what i liked about them compared to the other ones is that they covered my ears so well and they were really comfortable... the only problem is (and this is why they stopped selling them) is because the rotating part of the earphones were holding on by this little string of plastic which brake very easily... happened to me but i just super glued and now its fine :)...

I dont mind if anyone posts anything about big ones with a lot of bass but i want small ones with a lot of bass because i might be using them in class when there is a work period and i dont want people to look at me the whole time lol... one choice i have so far is the v moda vibe and if you suggest something please give me a comparison with the logitech earphones i have, thank you :D

my price range is max 200 bucks...

I had the CX300s and returned them - the bass is strong, but boomy and the mids and highs were almost non-existant. Found the CX400s on sale for the same price online, and couldn't be happier (I've been told that the CX500s are the same buds, but a different cable config).

It's almost creepy to hear such a powerful, but *normal* bass sound and not feel it in any other part of your body. Gives me a subconcious desire to look around for the half-stack and kick drum in the room.

Hello, i posted this before but ppl stopped responding...

so here i am again...

here is what i know so far:

budget is more or less 100 bucks

choices: (ONLY EARPHONES)

-sennheiser CX300

-shure se210

-sennheiser CX400 (if they have an improvement in bass from the cx300 and are better than the shure se210)

-v-moda vibe or bass freq (whichever has more bass)

-ultimate ear fl.5 extended bass (low chance, only if they have crazy bass that will blow my mind, and because i found it for a good price)

and if you can plz compare these to the ipod earphones and the logitech noise canceling headphones...

Best over-ear bass headphones which are a good price are Sennheiser HD 212 Pro's.

For in ear it is hard to say., since all I've heard are cheap ones, JVC HA-FX55's are pretty good on bass. :/

But I've heard for expensive ones, shure makes some good earbuds.

    • Yeah, right! /s They've been saying that for two centuries now. Look up "China's final warning" on Wikipedia.
    • I have not verified if any of the fixes mentioned on the below article actually work. Why Claude Code Eats All Your RAM (And How to Fix It) There are at least four separate things that can eat your RAM, and only one of them is your fault. The Four Culprits 1. Bloated Session Logs (The Silent Killer). For 2-4 and more inluding the suggested fixes, see link https://marceloretana.com/blog...aude-code-eats-all-your-ram
    • One of my PC's is Windows 11 Home Edition... and guess what? it supports Hyper-V Disks and Containers, as well as WSL2... which these desktop tools leverage on an as-needed basis. It does not need to be enabled system-wide; it merely needs to exist. Furthermore, I tried something yesterday with Hermes Desktop and their "installer" actually builds everything from source as part of its installer toolchain! The installer (and updater as it were) both go through a roughly 19-step process to prep the system for the tool to be used -- and connectivity to local/remote models, local/remote agent configs, and other steps are not included as part of this process (those are all user config steps post-install). ALSO, the "bug wasn't confirmed to exist" is the weakest argument against a bug. That's literally every flawed product's knee-jerk reaction! Even politicians, lawmakers, murderers, and other violent criminals start with that defense... "I deny everything I'm accused of." The bug is the (shared) experience. Whether it's truly Claude Code's fault, or user error, or some other software package being the ultimate culprit, is not the point. They are experiencing unpleasant side effects and don't like that.
    • Each generaton has its exciting times and I was fortunate enough to be right there at the beginning of the PC industry.   I don't think any of us at that time realized how large it would become I still remember working on a TRS-80 with a green screen monitor that kept overheating and dying.     Also used some TRS-80 PCs with tape cartridge memory.   They worked but boy were they slow with everything being a very slow sequential read or write.  But heh, they worked though it wasn't long before they were repaced by the HDD.
