Mongoose380
Just bought this game off craiglist. Any tips for a beginner newbie? Do most people cheat using the money codes to start off or start off in a cheapest home and move up? I8PP
Lure your sims to the middle, build a home with no walls or doors around them, include a barbecue, watch. :shifty: Do whatever your heart desires! Start small, get a job, make some money, make babies, move out! It's all up to you... there's no right or wrong way to start. If you want to cheat, then so be it :D Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/666448-sims-2-anyone/#findComment-589753830 Share on other sites
Zygar
First thing I did when I started playing it was use the money cheats so I could build a large, expensive house. The_Decryptor Veteran Posted September 8, 2008 Veteran Share Posted September 8, 2008 I normally start off in the cheapest home then cheat the crap out of it, and just generally attempt to break the game (I managed that a few days ago, the kids got taken away by a social worker and I managed to get the social worker to freeze on the front steps) The AI in the game is absolutely terrible and the time it takes for events to happen don't match up with in-game time (It shouldn't take the better part of an hour to go to the toilet) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/666448-sims-2-anyone/#findComment-589756022 Share on other sites
:: Lyon ::
Don't cheat! Once you have become rich, you'll lose the excitement of the game :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/666448-sims-2-anyone/#findComment-589756190 Share on other sites
Rudy
First thing I did when I started playing it was use the money cheats so I could build a large, expensive house. my sister did the same thing.....doesn't that defeat the purpose of the game though? deactivated01032015
What I usually did was to move into a small house with one single Sim. Then that one get married/joined with another one = 2 x basic money to start off with. And yes, cheating to get the money makes the game pointless. zape
First thing I did when I started playing it was use the money cheats so I could build a large, expensive house. Exactly :) I normally start off in the cheapest home then cheat the crap out of it, and just generally attempt to break the game (I managed that a few days ago, the kids got taken away by a social worker and I managed to get the social worker to freeze on the front steps) You don't have to do that; I think move_objects_on allows you to build walls around the social worker and she just gets stuck in side that little room forever. my sister did the same thing.....doesn't that defeat the purpose of the game though? Nope. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/666448-sims-2-anyone/#findComment-589756286 Share on other sites
