Thread cleaned. Lets keep this discussion on topic please.

I think that if age bracket is a consideration then you aren't quite going about marriage in the best way... Marriage is about two people loving one another enough to commit the rest of their lives to each other. And as with any feeling, there is really no optimal or universal age to feel it.

I agree with you, but I think that you are most likely to be ready after 25. I think that when you are young you usually lack the experience to really know what you are getting yourself into. I don't think anyone should get married until they have lived together for a couple of years first.

Saying that, I will probably be 23/24 when I get married, but I will have lived with my fiancee for 4/5 years by then. I think that's a much better position to get married than three years ago.

QFT. This poll is patently ridiculous.

Yeah, asking peoples' opinions on a subject is just ridiculous!

I got married and divorced in my 30s, and I doubt I'll remarry. That said, I think once you have a good understanding of yourself and of what you want in your life, and you find a partner that wants exactly the same things you should be good to go. Personally, I feel that post-25 is probably a good time as the brain is fully formed and you probably have some inkling of what you want in life and a good idea of how to get it.

When you are ready. There is no age, you can be ready at your 20s or you can be ready at your 40s.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

My best friend, she got married when she was 19, that was more than 10 years ago and they're extremely happy still.

My boss also got married right out of high school and he's still happily married (more than 10 years later).

While I know others who got married in their teens and it didn't work out so well. And my parents got married when they were in their 20's and they got divorced four years after I was born. Some people just aren't meant to be together. Unfortunately they don't wait long enough to find out, they rush into things. Others, they were meant to be together from the first second they saw each other.

I don't believe in soul mates, but I do believe in love at first sight. Of course that isn't for everyone, but for a few lucky people it does though.

It isn't so much at what age as much as it is at the person's maturity level. I got married when I was 19, while some people said we shouldn't. Six years and two kids later, we're still happily married and I look forward to the next 50 years.

I'd say in your 30's. I wanna be free in my 20's. Maybe I'll be with somebody I really love in my 20's but I'd like to think I'd wait until my 30's before actually getting married, so that I'm sure it will last. It does depend on people but I still think 30's is a good age as once you've turned 30, you'll realise that your getting older and that you may want to settle down and start a family etc. 20's are good for doing everything you've ever wanted to do.

I sort of have two answers. The my main answer is when they are ready.

I alsow want to say between 25 -30 this way you got all your college and party years out of the way got a real job and an appartment.

You can get married to the person and not have kids for a couple of years then have kids and have them be 21 and moved out in your 50's and not have your kids hanging around for too long before you retire.

IT always should be when your ready and not a specific age though. I do feal people get married to fast . 3 years should be a minimum before marrying the person.

    • I totally disagree. Very little good comes out of governments all around the world manipulating everything they can and usually the people are not the benefactors. What you say about being restricted and expensive sounds almost like the arguments against firearms and why banning them will protect people as if making something illegal somehow will prevent the criminals from having and using them. AI being far less mainstream could simply mean the average person will not benefit, but "big brother" and the corporations will benefit, which is almost for sure NOT a good thing.

    • "connect with audiences" is the most obvious corporate speak you can think of. I only bought Need for Speed from EA because it was the only racing game with cops in existence and I dig that. Now that they killed off NFS franchise, I have nothing to spend money on. EA is officially dead for me, just like Ubisoft which I've been boycotting for some 20 years now...
