Remote printing over HTTP ?

I would like to know if there is anyway I can connect my printer to HTTP or anything else that can make my printer accessible from anywhere on this planet?

you need to setup a vpn in order to do this

i use a linksys wrt54gl router with dd-wrt on it and that allows me to vpn and print remotely

But my internet's IP address is a fake IP that starts with 192.168...

I am behind an ISP and my IP is dynamic... any other options than VPN?

Use DynDNS to get a static address from your dynamic one. Then create a VPN

You use a VPN to securely connect to your internal network over the internet. This way you can access all your computers and printers on your LAN over the internet. To setup a VPN you can use software such as OpenVPN or get a router with VPN functionality built in like dd-wrt. You may have a router that has VPN passthrough, but that's only so that you can connect to a VPN from an internal network.

So to print to a Windows Server computer, you can just add the printer as if it were part of your network? Can that kind of stuff be intercepted and copied?
