most Fall shows end in May...on average they get 22 episodes....starting in Aug/Sept....how else would they make it to May if they didn't take the occasional break? and then you have certain events/holidays/etc where the break makes complete sense...like on FOX for baseball or the break from late november/early december until mid January...sure there's the occasional break for no reason other than to have a break but that's the way TV has always worked...why do people act every year like this is some completely new phenomenon?

I acknowledged it was an annual thing in my first post, but I was just curious as to why they take unnecessary breaks for days other than holidays. Just would like an explanation. If you nobody knows why, just don't answer.

They also do something similar near the end of the series, like last year and I believe the year before that. I too would like to know why. It's usually 2-3 episodes in, and also with 2-3 left to go. :\

Am I the only one getting a little bored with the side story for Sam and his family? I've been having to fight the urge to skip through them as they are just so sloooooow.

I think all the story arcs are boring, including Sam's family. It just doesn't have the panache of the previous seasons. I am especially getting angered by Franklin, I hope he gets staked post haste.

Watched all seasons. I don't like that Franklin character and Sam's family story is kinda boring. I want to see more Jessica, I really like her. Jessica and Hoyt were great together.

Damn Sookie's body

EDIT: From eps 2 but this is the best scene of the season so far.

+1

Tonight's episode dragged major ass. It was like watching paint dry on a hot humid day. Sure it had some good parts and nice twists, but damn with the dragging... The whole Sookie kicks ass didn't happen until the end. Argh...another week to wait... :pinch:

It was red.

That had me laughing.

Like she is complaining? Believe me, getting hit in the upper abdomen can hurt like hell also. To me nutsack pain goes away much faster...
