Supernatural Season 4

Recommended Posts

Hooooly. And I thought Heroes was a mindfrak. This is getting really good. Thanks for those promos too, Rappy! Can't wait for next week. I love where this season is going. And I have to admit--after seeing this week's episode, new-Ruby is growing on me too.

Alastair is one heck of a demon. I'd say he's more bad-ass than Lilith. He wasn't afraid of Sam at all and was clearly unaffected by his powers. In fact, I think Sam merely tickled him with his demon exorcism ability. And to top it all off the knife didn't work on him.

Yeah, I think I remember an article about Alastair being the new super bad ass demon.

Good episode, but yeah, ended really quickly. :(

He sure is bad ass. I'd love to see that "specialist" angel or Castiel go head to head with him. The third sneak peak in Rappy's post looks great. I can't wait to see how that fight turned out between Dean and the "specialist".

It was awesome. :o I don't want to spoil anything, so... go watch it! It'll be on SPACE tonight, or you could always download it... :3

But I will say this: Last week, we got Sam/Ruby sex. This week, we get Dean and Anna!

...Now the only problem is going to be waiting until January 15th to get a new episode. Damn!

Damn! What an episode! I can't believe we have to wait until the 15th of January for a new episode.

Why did Castiel offer a chance for Alastair and his demon henchmen to leave? I thought angels hated demons. And Uriel pwned those demon henchmen. As Castiel put it, he "laid them to waste". It was kinda weird to see Castiel so powerless. His "touch-your-forehead-and-make-you-faint" ability didn't work on Alastair. And Anna as an angel was pretty cool. That whole thing about grace and falling from heaven at 10,000 miles an hour was very interesting.

Anyway, it's safe to say that we'll see Alastair (and maybe Anna) again. This thought just hit me though: What if Dean leads the armies of Heaven and Sam leads the armies of Hell? That would probably mean peace between Heaven and Hell.

I just watched this weeks and OMG how amazing was that episode!, the battle at the end was really cool and Anna as an angel was awesome!

So long for the next episode tho :(

In the meantime...

As simple as it may seem, I thought the Grace looked really cool. Like the Demon-Black-Smoke, except... white-ish blue, and less 'smoky'. Just the way it looked [more energy-like?] was neat. Would've been an interesting twist to see the Grace 'accidentally' get Sam or Dean instead, though.

The way she and Alastair vanished though... I wonder if we WILL see them again?

Yeah he is very powerful I imagine Anna just took him somewhere off the grid so to speak, Castiel was a bit weak when you think about it, if Lucifer does rise then he will be pointless :p

I thought Castiel would be stronger. It feels like Alastair is overpowered. And he sounds somewhat "retarded" when he talks, but not really retarded in terms of intelligence. It's more-so his speech. His choice of words is mobster-like but the way he pronounces it... kinda reminds me of that one movie titled 'The Untouchables'.

As for Anna, I think it's safe to say she's an angel again. She has her grace back and she somehow vanished with Alastair in that glowing energy field. And didn't anyone else find it odd that Castiel gave Alastair a chance to walk away? I figured angels would be hellbent on killing demons, no pun intended.

Yeah i agree Castiel seems really weak.. Uriel is a total pain the ass ....

btw did anyone notice how the Demon and Angel sitting in the backseat was interesting on the sides they were sitting? As in Ruby the demon and sam on that side and Anna the Angel and dean on that side.. It had to mean something.. Sammy!!! I really want him to stay good.

I'm surprised that Castiel and Uriel haven't taken out Ruby yet. I mean, Uriel briefly tried, but Dean attacked before he got a chance to work his head mojo. I'm sure though that they could easily knock out a demon that isn't say, Alastair or Lilith. [Where is she these days, anyway?]

Anyway, a few weeks after the break is over , there's an episode starring young Sam and Dean again, titled 'After-School Special'. Brock Kelly will be replacing Jensen Ackles [only as Young Dean, anyway], with Colin Ford as Young Sam. [The same kid who played Young Sam before.] What say you? Good choice? I have to say he doesn't look like Dean AT ALL... [ie: photos on IMDb] Except for when they cut his hair short and dressed him up:

I totally missed that one, Copoboxx. Maybe they're hinting us. Ruby seems to "push" Sam to use his demon abilities. Uriel already warned him though. If I remember correctly, he said he'd kill Sam if he outlived his usefulness.

I'm looking forward to another episode of the Winchester brothers as kids. It should be good but January 29th is just too far away.

I was looking for some music I heard in season 1 of Supernatural and came across this. It goes up to the 8th episode of season 3 which isn't bad. Take a look at the music they used in the unaired pilot. It's way different than what they used in the first episode.

  • 2 weeks later...
I love this show no matter how dark it gets they always throw in some comedy and funny episodes, unlike other shows of this genre.

That's exactly why I love it. The little things they add to make the show funny go a long way in making it funny. I hope the show goes on for at least another season. A movie would be nice too.

Rappy: Thanks for the video! Allow me to return the favour:

    • AI is indeed eliminating jobs, and Oracle just proved it by Hamid Ganji There’s no question that AI has become the hottest trend in workplaces, and every company is trying to adopt AI-driven solutions across its operations. While some industry leaders repeatedly say AI won’t lead to massive layoffs, recent data suggest that AI is actually one of the main reasons some companies are reducing their workforce. According to Oracle’s annual regulatory filing, the company has laid off about 21,000 employees, or 13% of its workforce, amid increasing AI adoption. “The adoption and deployment of AI technologies across our operations have resulted, and may continue to result, in reductions to our workforce,” Oracle said in the filing. The software giant now has approximately 141,000 full-time employees, a notable decrease from 162,000 during the same period last year. Restructuring expenses, including severance payments, cost Oracle $1.84 billion in fiscal 2026. Additionally, around 49,000 Oracle employees were based in the U.S., while approximately 92,000 were employed internationally. Like many other companies, Oracle has fully embraced AI and concentrated much of its efforts on the technology. The company is also a key participant in the United States’ $500 billion Stargate Project, which aims to build multiple AI data centers across the country. When it comes to AI adoption and its impact on the workforce, opinions remain divided. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, whose company has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI boom, recently said in an interview that attributing job cuts to AI is a “lazy” narrative. “The narrative that connects AI to job loss, for many of the CEOs that are doing it – it is just too lazy. AI has just arrived, how is it possible they're already losing jobs?” Huang said. However, statistics and recent reports tell a different story. According to Layoffs.fyi, 196 tech companies have laid off about 119,800 employees so far this year. Reducing staff and replacing roles with AI agents could become one of the most significant trends in the job market in the years ahead.

    • UK funds £60M AI labs to challenge US tech dominance with open-source models by Paul Hill The UK government has awarded £60 million to Oxford University and University College London to help keep the country in the AI race by focusing on open-source, low-hardware alternatives. This is in stark contrast to the expensive, closed-source, and high-hardware-requirement models being created in the United States and elsewhere. The money will be shared among two new academic research labs over six years to help them redesign the fundamental mathematics and architectures of AI to help the UK reduce its reliance on a handful of US tech firms. Commenting on the development, AI Minister Kanishka Narayan said: Initially, the government planned to fund just one lab with a £40 million investment, but with this update, two labs will now get access to a larger pool of funds. The labs are expected to invest in the top AI researchers at every career stage, with £2 million per lab being set aside for hiring at least ten doctoral students. The government hopes that this will grow the UK’s talent in the field of AI. The labs are also expected to work closely with the leaders in British AI research, such as the Alan Turing Institute and UKRI’s AI research hubs. This will allow the various teams to collaborate and create new solutions faster than they could alone. This development is pretty interesting for a number of reasons, chiefly that it could create a long-term challenge for US tech firms if these labs successfully scale these open-source architectures that bypass the proprietary ecosystems. It could also give British businesses and public sector organizations access to AI features without paying high licensing fees to foreign providers or needing to invest in specialized server infrastructure.
    • If I were them, I'm gonna hold out until the prices of these semiconductor parts normalize. $1,049 for a ~5 year old hardware is DoA, more so for gamers. On a deeper note, if Steam Machine is priced like this, we are soo effed up for the next gen Xbox console and PS6. With great AAA titles releasing at the end of the year, this just creates more demand...and more tears for me. Lol.
