Supernatural Season 4

OMG! That episode was amazing! Forget the Lilith chick, that Rogue girl is frakking hot. Man that bit at the end just had me at the edge of my seat. I'm talking about the hotel showdown and the very ending. Man, Supernatural just keeps getting better and better.

I lawled at so much in this episode!

"They know we're brothers right?"

"Doesn't seem to matter"

"That's just sick"

Haha, yeah I love that quote. I liked Dean's quote from the episode before, "Angel or not, I will shoot you in the face."

Question: Your Supernatural asterisk quiz last week was just plain cruel! --Betsy

Ausiello: You know what else it was? Wrong! Turns out I had one too many asterisks in the second word. The revised (and correct) quiz is below. Sorry for the inconvenience. As a make-good, I went ahead and filled in an extra word.

Sam learns in the season finale that ******i** ****** is the ***** **** that has ** ** broken ****** ******* can ***e.

/me begins deciphering process

/me looks up asterisks in lore

Anyway, is Supernatural renewed for another season? I'd hate to see the show end.

Sweet! Thanks for the quick reply (and the promo). Tonight's episode should be good. :)

In the entire series, what is your favorite episode?

To me is "No Rest for the Wicked"... that episode is just awesome. :D

My all time favourite episode is season 3's "Mystery Spot". It's the episode where Sam relives the same day over and over again, and Dean dies each day.

I think my favorite "serious" episode is "Jus in Bello" - the one where Lilith is on her way to assault the brothers and a group of civies barracaded in a polic station. That was a great one.

I really can't pick a favorite "funny" episode. Dean has so many great lines that it's hard to choose. I like the lucky rabbit's foot one where Dean throws the pen into the gun of the mugger guy and says "I'm Batman". I also think Season 4's "Fear" episode is near the top though. What with Dean screaming at the cat, and Jensen's dance to Eye of the Tiger after the credits. Awesome.

And that one about Dean having a kid (forgot the title).

That episode is a favorite of mine, but for a different reason. It has my favorite hot chick in it. "The kids are all right", the changeling one if I'm not mistaken. The mom (Cindy Sampson) of the kid that looks like he could be Dean's son is so ridiculously hot. And I think this is the first episode we meet ruby (Katie Cassidy) who is also drop dead gorgious. (Y)

Any info about who will play the role of Lucifer in this season's finale?

Is Lucifer going to be in the finale? ;)

I hope he is tbh but its a massive role they have to get someone just literally dark and awesome to play it.

Well, the finale's title will be something like "Lucifer rising".

Hmm, favourite episode...either Provenance in S1 cos the chick in it is so hot or perhaps the Pilot, some good lines and a good story. :)

    • But building your own.. what? You can't build anything like the Steam Machine yourself. Even trying to get close costs a good deal more. Even just the CPU cooler in their price comparison is as big as the entire Steam Machine. If you want a regular gaming PC, then by all means, build that. If you want a a small console-like PC for the living room that is good for gaming, I'm not sure what else is a better deal. In the GN review, they only mentioned a small form factor Dell, which is like twice the size and hundreds of dollars more expensive.
    • Those are some popular multiplayer games. But hardly "all". Just those that don't work on Linux currently due to specific anti-cheat implementations. I think it's also fair to point out the literally thousands of games that don't work on the PS5. And it's not locked at 1080p. That's the default, which you can change.
    • Ubuntu Livepatch arrives on Arm64 to eliminate system reboots for kernel updates by Paul Hill Canonical has just announced that its Livepatch service now supports computers with Arm64 processors. For those who are not familiar, Livepatch allows users to apply important kernel updates without any service interruption or rebooting. While home users will benefit from this, it’s even more important for critical machines that absolutely should not be going offline at all. The feature is available as part of Ubuntu Core 26 for Arm64 and Ubuntu Core 20 and onwards for AMD64. According to Canonical, this will improve the security of systems that aren’t security-maintained daily or weekly, and it helps organizations work towards Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance. If you are familiar with Ubuntu, you probably know that most packages can be updated without having to restart the system. There is one big exception to this, and that’s the kernel; it typically requires you to reload the system to boot into the new kernel. With Livepatch, Canonical has done something so that you don’t need to restart to begin using the new kernel. Aside from Ubuntu Core 26, users with Arm64 chips running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS can also use Livepatch. If you want to learn more about Livepatch, check out its product page. There, you can also find a button to join Ubuntu Pro (it’s free for several home devices) so that you can enable Livepatch. By linking your computer to Ubuntu Pro, you will also extend the life of your Ubuntu install from five years to ten years. If you are running Ubuntu, let us know in the comments if you have been looking forward to this feature on your ARM-based computer. If you’ve had a compatible AMD64 machine for a while and never used this feature, let us know why in the comments!
