Generally, I set my alarm to about two hours before I need to be in class or at work (same thing--I work in a cognitive psychology lab as a research assistant):

  • 30 minutes to snooze through all four of my alarms
  • 30 minutes to eat
  • 30 minutes to take a shower and get ready
  • 30 minutes to commute to class/work

...and I'm still usually late. T_T

6:55 - Get up, shower, get dressed, eat breakfast and w/e else.

7:10 - Go on computer to look at stuff, normally just browse a bit of Neowin.

7:25 - Off to college.

:o that's the same as me apart from i go to college at 7:30 :p

hahaha...good thread. :D

basically i usually take 30-45 minutes to prepare myself to go to college in the morning.

6:10 - wake up and do preparations (washroom)

6:15 - turn on computer and have breakfast

6:35 - further preparations (bag packing, change of clothes)

6:40 - off to college

 sometimes i am really lazy to get up....when i have dreadful mornings.

6:00 - The time I want to get up, alarm goes off, mmmm, turn off alarm, walk back to my warm bed.

7:00 - Second alarm, time to turn off, back to th bed again.

8:00 - Phone alarm goes again, time to turn off, bed, again....lol.

8:15 - Get up, shower, get dressed.

8:30 - Time to leave for work.

I have two alarms, both situated away from my bed. They go off, I get out of bed, switch them off (read: not snooze), and then....get back into bed.

Waltz into work around 9-10-11, whenever, the joys of working for yourself :D

7:00-7:45 Alarm Goes Off. Hit snooze 4 times.

7:46 Brush My Teeth

7:47 Shower

7:52 Out Of Shower (I am Bald so just make sure I am all soaped up and I am done)

7:53-8:00 Get Dressed (Lay out clothes night before)

8:03 Out the door.

Approximately 18 minutes. I eat on the road (some kind of bar) if I eat at all.

7:30 AM - Hit snooze

7:39 AM - Hit snooze

7:48 AM - Hit snooze

7:57 AM - Finally get up and hit the shower

8:10 AM - Brush teeth, shave, brush hair, dress

8:20 AM - Begin my morning commute to be in the office by 9:00 AM

    • Apart from Early Hiccups on Windows 11 on first install on October 6th 2021 on my old Intel 10700 daily use Desktop PC at the time, used to have issue with Bluetooth suddenly no longer working and only fix back then was always another clean install--then would work for a while. Transition to 2024 when i decided to finally upgrade that system for better support for Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 6 later on, opted for next daily use Gaming Desktop AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and Radeon 7800XT OC 16GB. No major problems at all with this desktop, OS was clean installed way back on 10/8/2025 not long after 25H2 released. Overall i've been happy with Windows 11 Pro from the start, even minor little quirks didn't sway me. Heck i even use Windows 8 and upgraded immediately upon release back then on my old HP P6-2133W Desktop, and while the specs of that machine didn't give me top notch performance--i still was able to do what i wanted to, without too many slowdowns. Windows ME i didn't use on any of my personal systems back in the day, kept those systems on 98SE til XP released, and grabbed that immediately on release date. Kept XP til Vista Released then upgraded immediately, kept Vista til Windows 7 released, then updated immediately again
    • Broadcom: dreadful company who is destroying VMware by pricing it out of the market.
    • To be fair, it wasn't going anywhere. Even when Windows Phone could run Android APKs, Google didn't want any of it so it'd never work and the same thing happened with Windows. It was never about the store or it's users, it was always the developers and who they aligned to.
    • Wake me up when this comes to PC. Until then... zzzzzzzz....
