Fable II LCE Drops in Price and Features

Has anyone else had their order dropped in price yet? Mine is still ?41.99 and still no e-mail back from them. That is pretty slow!

I have canceled it all-together and will not be picking it up for a couple of months down the line, I shall also be buying it preowned just to spite them as they will get no money off this!

I've cancelled mine. With the state of the removed content and the fact that it's taken game this long to even reflect the reduced price, I don't want any of the companies involved getting any of my money. It's just a poor effort all around.

There is an email from GAME doing the rounds on the internet, claiming that the LCE has been further reduced. This information is incorrect; there are no further cuts in the Limited Collectors Edition.

The Developer Diaries and Soundtrack were never going to be a part of the bonus DVD, these can be downloaded for free. The diaries from Xbox LIVE marketplace (or here) and the soundtrack from http://www.sumthingdigital.com, and enter ?FableCollection? promotion code. This will be available beginning October 6, 2008 @ 9am PST. (I am sure there are future plans for additional tracks)

You will get the game in the LCE that's for sure, the issue with the Hobbe, cigar box packaging and Fate Cards is beyond everyone's control. I don't have any other details on that.

The videos that are on there are brand new and never-seen-before. The Making of Fable II is based on footage that was filmed over two years, it's unlike most Making of features and a little bit of the footage you will have seen in the video diaries.

I don't know why GAME send that email and I also don't know why sites publish this without checking with us or Microsoft first.

Haha. They should have at least bundled a card that let you send off for the missing bits, thus keeping everyone happy. But then again, it's probably manufacturing costs rising (what with the dodgy economy and all) that's prevented them from bundling the stuff without cutting into profits. Shame.

I stand by my cancellation, I'll pick the game up when it's cheaper.

Lol I know mate I'm just in that kinda mood today, had a shoddy day at work and a crap weekend. So I'm just cutting a game from my huge list of upcoming purchases that I can "hold off" to play a little later on for a cut down price!

Hell yeah got email from game saying price has been adjusted to ?39.99, so I logged in and my order is saying ?36.99 so they are honouring the voucher, so this makes it cheapest for LE of Fable 2. I'm happy with that.

yea mine got reduced to ?34.99 so i'm happy too.:)) was a very edgy week, with teh loss of all the bonus stuff and the price reduction issues. just a relief tbh.

I got the e-mail and was like ffs, I already know this, answer my e-mail I sent last Thursday then noticed its ?36.99 so I am pleased but still can't believe how long they took!
