OS X: USB Tuners

Hello, my pretties. I'm in the market for a new USB tuner for my Mac, mainly to catch antennae stations (like NBC, damned Dish Net.) and record them for my viewing pleasure. Now, I know about the EyeTV and their amazing software, but $150 is a bit out of my range for the Elgato EyeTV hybrid. Does anyone know of a cheaper tuner that'll work w/ EyeTV software for less than $100? Or am I just dreaming? lol.

I'm not sure if there is any tuner (except EyeTV) for Mac's..

EyeTV is by far the best; if you look around, there are TerraTec/EyeTV-bundles, which might be cheaper than Elgato's tuners.

An alternative might be iTele, if you happen to have one of the supported cards.

Pinnacle makes one, but I'm not sure that it's any good. You can buy them at Best Buy and return it if you don't like it.

Also looks like EyeTV hybrid is the cheapest way to do it also. I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer until Christmas. :p

I'm not quite sure, but you should be able to get a free upgrade to the new software since you're buying it after December 1st, 2007.

ATI make USB tuners for Mac and i've heard they are good. The EyeTV from experiance is wikid aswell.
