Mac OS Desktops will now be split into 4 threads over the course of a year to reduce clutter.

1Q - January through March.

2Q - April through June.

3Q - July through September.

4Q - October through December.

Posting Guidelines:

  • If you plan to img-embed your desktop, please try to keep it at/under 1024x768 and under 100k (It's recommended that you link it, externally).
  • Stay within the board rules, no matter how yummy you may believe it to be.
  • If you are going to quote, there isn't a need to quote an img-embeded picture - Just don't do it. Please just reference the post by page number/page link/etc.
  • Off Topic Posts will be edited or removed.
  • The desktops thread is not to be used as a means to post images of a pornographic or otherwise provocative nature. We do not support a babes forum and neither will we in an unofficial capacity. Please help to keep the thread relevant and safe to browse for everyone.
  • The moderators of this forum reserve the right to edit or remove your posts as necessary so they may comply with our Community Ruleset.

In the interests of keeping the thread on topic it is strongly urged that you format your posts in the following order:

  • Wallpaper: Name/where you got it (with link would be nice).
  • Icons: Name/where you got it (with link would be nice).
  • Programs: Name/where you got it (with link would be nice).

Remember, any slight deviation of posts in this thread not regarding desktops will be removed on sight - this thread is for Mac Desktops only.

About time we got one for each quarter instead of just one, and 300+ pages was crazy!

Steve love you dock how its color coded, and Insanor, love the wallpaper!

Here's my Leopard, just put 4gb of ram in my 13" macbook and now it's super fast.

Hi, how did you make your spotlight icon white, i cant find that .menu anywhere..also what clock utility are you using?

The clock i am using is the one in istatmenu and use my guide here to find the spotlight icon along with everything else. With istat menu just add the clock and change the text settings to white.

Dude.. how much stuff can you possibly have in your Dock? :|

I am desperately trying to achieve critical mass in that department :)

Funny thing is, I know I can use Spotlight and other methods to find / run common applications, but i seem to be tethered to this method. I guess deep down, I love to show off the fact that I have so many apps.

      I hate Slack, but Teams is much worse - maybe they've already optimized it, but it was a huge slog the last time I've checked about half a year ago. I miss my Skype.
