Well I was in for quite a shock today. I went to go see my academic adviser regarding my course scheduling (I had some conflicts etc...) I threw out the question of how much more competitive in the job market would I be with a minor in psychology as a major in criminology.

They told me it would be nothing and I should only be taking those courses if I enjoyed them and that in fact a minor matters very little.
