[Official] Gears of War 2

Yes, finally got to play it! it's really blowing my mind right now, both in the graphics and gameplay department. story is alright so far, but it's getting rather cliche really.. the level inside the worm was amazing, really had me gagging XD

played most of the levels of horde 1-8 16-28 -34-50

basically 1-10 you can do on insane

10-38 on hardcore

38-48 on normal

48-50 on casual

now ive gotta go back and fill in hte missed games

i dont like how they have nurfed the shotgun and this makes the problem with elimination where you have to be on top of them to kill them greater, at least on GOW1 i could shotgun to the head when they were downed from a relatively far distance, now i cant do that or finish with hte lancer and end up not getting many kills

edit: horde was done on security, with 4 people in the "pit" one in hte hiding place by the button

if you can get all 5 people in the "pit" then you can seriously kick arse

Got my copy at midnight last night and was only able to play for a few min when I got off work this morning, I did install it to the HD and the only complaint I have so far is there are some texture issues where they take a while to fully render them. Not sure if thats because of the install or just a bug that was overlooked. Hopefully they release a patch for it sometime soon.

I noticed that on disk too.

I got the game today, Amazon pulled through, and it is awesome. I have played nothing but horde mode so far but that alone made it worth it. I am pretty sure though that the game is going to kill my 360. I see little graphical glitches and stuff on the screen. Like peoples names and how much ammo you have left kinda flicker and slide a little. That is the best way I can describe it.

Loving this game, and i can confirm the sainsburys deal ?29.00 as per my image above.

looking for people to do some horde or co-op (no ###### difficultys:pp)

GT = Addc182

i was gonna wait till next pay day to get this but when i saw this i had to go:DD

    • I'm not sure about that, but it at least "does" a version of 7.1 that this brand new card doesn't....

    • I can barely recall getting web results from a file search... I must've turned it off long ago. 26H2 is Insider's Preview build 26300.8697, which I am running, atm. It is not available for people running the standard commercial builds of Windows--only for the beta test Insider's group. But anyway, as mentioned in the thread, this feature has been around for a long time...
    • Speak for yourself. I saw it on Feedly, came here to read it, and did read it until the steps to activate. I skipped them to read the last paragraph. I knew it was probably not "the most requested feature", but knowing Neowin, I knew the article was going to talk about a feature nonetheless. I've seen Neowin in its best and worst.
