Update: Black Mesa: Source

Recommended Posts

Valve has already updated Day of Defeat: Source to the updated Source engine (aka Orange Box engine). It's just a matter of time before they update the Source engine in Counter-Strike: Source.

So, I take it you guys liked that trailer eh? Muahahhahaa, so glad I saw it on VE3D earlier and mentioned it in IRC before I left. I know alot of you are big HL fans, and have been keeping and eye out for this mod/total conversion/masterpiece :)

If I remember correctly, Valve has offered them some voice talent to clean up the voices a bit, and some help with the port of HL1DM (yes, we get HL1 ported over and remade, and HL1DM as well!)

I'm really glad I saw this thread. I look forward to checking this out. HL2 is my favorite, but I remember playing Half-Life plenty if times. And, thanks to Draken, I now know about 'Knights Of The Force' which I'd never heard of. Time to break out my dusty box of games that I'll always keep (Half-Life, Jedi Knight, etc.).

Ok, so i dont know if im alloud to post it or not, but i have a leaked alpha version from about 18months ago. If you all want, i cold upload it...

I wouldn't risk it. Neowin is tightening its rule on talking about piracy nevermind leaking alpha games :p

"18 Months Ago"??? Really? The condition it's in now, is probably nothing like it was 18 months ago, so I doubt it'd even be worth the time or effort to try and upload it.

    • And none of them have a "notchless" 3:2 OLED screen, for which I was always willing to pay more.
