64bit editors

When I used XP (32bit) I used "replacer", "reshacker", "resource editor" and such tools ... does anyone know if they work on a Vista 64bit?

Downloaded the trail, but I can't find how to edit the menus in explorer.exe (I want to remove the "search" item in Vista's classic start menu)

I don't recommend using the trial to edit system files. It watermarks stuff and adds 'trial' items to menus, etc..

In other words, unpredictable results and can potentially lead to crashes.

You should get the full version. (I don't know of any free editors for vista 64)

also, afaik, explorer.exe doesn't have the menu information.

I agree with kbirger, using trial to edit system files isnt a good idea..

Restorator is one hell of a program tho, i use it. (non-trial)
