[Official] Halo 3: ODST

Recommended Posts

Well the first review I've found isn't...

64/100 - http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2...ter.html?cat=19

Not heard of the site though.

Hardly a review :/ he wasted almost 2 pages discussing what is FPS. I think NDA is till this saturday, we won't see any actual reviews till then.

Correction: It is not a review. Just a re-hash of already known information. I guess he was gunning for page views. Doesn't even look like he played the game.

On the flip-side, I am not expecting very glowing reviews for ODST. Everyone knows this is a re-hash and engine is old therefore, graphics won't be "top-notch".

Cannot wait to play this game. Also if we get ODST, is our Halo 3 disc rendered useless because i hear that Disc 2 of ODST is just Halo 3 but with new maps included. There should be an option IMO to install the maps from the disc like the Halo 2 Map Packs. I guess they don't want people swapping and sharing the discs?

I prefer that all the maps are on one disk, dunno about anyone else but the downloadable map packs took forever to load when i started Halo 3, i had to go into forge, go to map selection and then wait 20 seconds as they loaded. This way they will all load when the disk loads.

Anyone else excited that ODST has ended up as kind of a Firefly convention as Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, and Alan Tudyk are all in it in their Firefly character types?

Nope. Firefly was ****.

(And yes, I realise that I'm probably the only person on the planet who thinks this).

Yes, I believe I mentioned this a few pages back. It's awesome if you ask me!

And yeah you probably are! Firefly was/is an amazing show.

Lets say a little birdy showed me the full LE Box. Its looks cool and the controller looks awesome. I like it better then the halo 3. The tech drawings plus labels and etc just make it look much more cooler / feel like your in the game. Its weighted and everything.

Lets just say this same birdy saw NO extras. So its only reserve orders, how unlucky for the people that have been lately coming in to reserve it. But oh well live with the game.

Now, cant wait for midnight launch. Im gonna be working, but I get to go home and playyy with my new controller.

No if it was just discs then every pirate would be able to join it.

It's definitely codes, every preorder I've looked at online mentions them and it was the same for Halo 3's beta.

Well GAME order failed :(

17/09/2009 Sorry, your order has failed authorisation ? call 0871 200 1221 for assistance.

Due to Voucher Glitch I assume. I probably have same issue as MightyJordan, I guess if I order a product straight it will still block me.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
