[Official] Halo 3: ODST

Recommended Posts

Halo 3 has been on top a lot more, with all the MW2 talk WaW took 1st place again though.

But now order has been restored and WaW will be seeing a lovely decline from now on :p Bye bye **** game! :bounce:

Hey Andy want to co-op it up when we get it?

Who's up for Tuesday? I'll be playing midnight central time (US), get some gamertags in so we can get a nice big match.

@NeoA: You got me! lol.

I was planning to do Co-op campaign first before anything. Just want to get the story overwith before I start firefight. So if anyone wants to do co-op campaign hit me up.

Typical high rating from IGN... now awaiting the typical exceptionally low rating from Eurogamer.

EDIT: No matchmaking for Firefight? LAME! I like playing Horde with friends, but sometimes I don't want to have to set up a date and time if I don't HAVE much time.

Anyone reading the comments? Holy jeez, i feel like i'm reading the Uncharted 2 review instead of the ODST review; almost every single comment involves ODST vs Uncharted 2, the games are nothing alike so why are ps3 lovers throwing the .5 higher rating around?

This is why I stay away from these places. People just take the joy out of everything it's disgusting.

Check out the Australian rating of Halo 3: ODST here.. It got a slightly low review score.

Even with its superb gameplay and the addictive new Firefight co-op mode, a five-hour campaign is a paltry amount of content for a full-priced game. If you?re flush with cash or a mad-keen Halo devotee then ODST?s definitely worth picking up, but others might want to save their money for something else.

This game looks alright and mind you, I'm not really into FPSs that much but I may or may not pick this game up since there are other games that interest me atm. *Waits for Tekken 6, Magna Carta 2 and Assassin's Creed 2

Halo 3 was brilliant in its online play and I am glad that it is back up top.

I'll be up for it, but I get home from work at 1AM EST lol (I work afternoons at the WMI(TJX for the Americans) warehouse in Brampton)

Reviews should be more cautious about taking price into consideration, you're reviewing the GAME, not the price. In a year when the price is half, will they change their score saying now it's worth it? Price good or not, i want to know about the game, not the price.

Such a terribad excuse for those defending the game. It's a 5-6 hour expansion pack at ?30. Of course they should take it in to consideration.

No, they shouldn't. They're reviewing the game. The price has no effect on the game. They should review the game and let the reader decide if it's worth the price based on the review.

    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
