Thanks for the heads up. I usually only load Adium when there's an update to see if its worth sticking with it yet. I'm currently updating now mainly for the offline messaging support. If it really does work, I think they may have found a way to keep me using their client over the official one.

... That is, until the Mac BU comes out with a new official client.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just as an update, I have been using Adium as my main client ever since this update simply because of the offline messaging support.

What I need now (aside from the obvious webcam support) is support for adding custom emoticons to use. I'm not currently aware of an easy way of doing this (the only option I see would be modifying the emoticon pack that I'm using). I can see other's custom emoticons fine, but I just can't send any back.

I think a UI and such for sending custom emoticons is coming in 1.4

The feature list for 1.4 is a bit strange though, so maybe it shouldn't be trusted (It talks about possibly cutting PPC and x86 support, which I can't see any reason for and dropping all 32Bit support screws over Core Duo users).

    • That's not clickbait. Clickbait is headlines like, "You'll never guess what this person looks like now" for example. For goodness sake, take a look around the internet if you think this is clickbait. How do sites survive if people don't click through to articles? How many people in all honesty would have clicked this if it had your suggested headline? You and those upvoting your post won't be happy until the web is a couple of hundred websites all behind a paywall.

    • Or use Epic games and get full games for free. lol Steam and their demos. Thankfully there’s competition
    • Maybe I missed it, but does this say anywhere that the game save bug has been squashed? I haven't encountered it myself, but it would be nice to know I'm good to go. Anyway, amazingly well done game. Mostly more of the same. ...but when the same is best in class with improved graphics and features, then a win.
    • Well when your game flops, you should expect this. If I do bad at work, I would expect a layoff. Less than 1600 people played it on steam. https://steamdb.info/app/1934570/charts/
