DaemonF
At the office which I do IT work for, I have recently been noticing the following error on my clients PC, and the issue seems to be spreading to other networked PC's (Virus anyone?). I am running Symantec AntiVirus Client on all PC's, which are updated via the main file server, and it finds no errors. Issue: 1) I cannot access my clients website, www.totemtravel.com from certain PC's in the office 2) I get this error message "The AVG bot accessing this page is unacceptably configured. We refuse to service your request." (Screen shot below) 3) the problem has spread from 1 PC to 3, but there is no issue 4) I only get the message in IE 6 or 7, not in Firefox which I have now made office standard What do I do? This doesn't affect normal operation but my client is very concerned about a virus, spyware etc. Has anyone had experience with this and what should I proceed with? AVG_error.bmpFetching info... TurboTuna
Is there a proxy set in IE? Hosts file entries perhaps? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/680548-avg-bot-restricts-access-to-my-site-but-i-have-no-avg/#findComment-589947020 Share on other sites
