PSP Problems

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I'm pretty new here so if this is in the wrong spot please feel free to move it to the right spot. But about 3 months ago or so I installed new plates onto my PSP, front and back. I turned it on and played Midnightclub 3 for a while until i got a battery low indicator. So I ran as fast as I can to get my charger, Plug it in, and sit back trying to catch my breath. When I notice the charging light didn't come on. So I think to myself Maybe I didn't put the clear light separator back in. and let it go. I unplug it later and turn it on. But it doesn't turn on. I plug it in and turn it on and it turns on fine. I unplug it, it goes off again. It says the battery is 100% charged yet it doesn't run without the cord. I gave my friend at school my battery to see if it charges and it charges fine on his. Now my PSP won't charge a battery for the life of it, but it runs fine on external power. I've looked everywhere for a solution for this and have returned empty-handed. Now I know some of you guys have PSP's and might be able to help me. Please I just need to fix this dang thing so I don't need my cord everywhere I go. I took it apart again last night and tinkered around for a bit but still no luck. Any and all help is appreciated. I can get an external charger for it but I would rather fix it if I can. Thanks guys

-Corporal
