How to Fix 'Heroes'

all can't simply watch the show?

who cares about if the show has some flaws, damm every tvshow, movie has them, even the big big big ones like Lord of the Rings that had more than 100 flaws simply on the first 1, not counting the others

i think that by now that all would know that heroes revels the stuff not only in 1 episode, but across the season, fine the peter girlfriend is well noted, the matt's that was revealed on the latest episodes, so time that this critic lost writing about it

if people want all stuff answered in the same episode then you all dont want a evolving history, you want for ex what is Stargate Atlantis and everybody knows how that turn out for not continuing storys, totally random episodes every week

relax, see the show, dont analyze the show, simply see the show or else will make Heroes end

then came here "cry" about it for losing a great show

or the problem is because it doesn't have half naked women and men? like true blood that the story not evolve at all, one half naked persons and the show is loved by the critics, is that what is needed ? so put a half naked in there Heroes writers

it appears that all prefer that the tvshows dont even existed because all the whining and trying to kill them

Too many people nitpick about everything about shows they watch.

Another thing I've learned greatly these days is the fact many people DON'T even really respect these actors that much... like I do.

People think they are so Smart, that they are smart/above the show's Intelligence, than these Actor's intelligence, but need to look in the mirror themselves. What have you people done yourself in this life that earns More respect than these actors/shows?

Do writers always have to explain Everything?

Sure something can have a follow up, but definitely NOT everything.

Ohh please. Let me try an amalgam answer that others can apply. Built a building, restored a car, served your country, been a good parent, been a good friend, cooked good meals, been a good son, taught a class, repaired electrical equiptment. As good as actors or shows might be they have not earned as a group any more or less respect than the kid that delivers my newspaper (hey that 10 year old is reliable and accurate). This idea that worth and respect is tied to money and fame is truly sad.

You are of course talking about the 'helping out' that celebrities do for photoshoots, to give themselves a better image. They don't help directly. There are obsessives like a certain person who'll jump at a chance to donate money to something someone was seen 'doing', but celebrities don't exactly do anything, for fear of breaking a nail.

No, you went too far and you expanded too much. That was not my argument. You asked what we, the people on this board and in this post did to deserve as much respect as actors. Any of those things that I listed and plenty more deserve just as much respect as being an entertainer on a show.

If these entertainers do an especially good job than they earn more respect, but only at the same level as the cook that turns out an exception meal at my local restaurant. If they do a bad job then they lose respect again same as the dude that burns my steak. If they happen to perform other community service than I will respect them for that, separately from what their job might be same as I would respect the fry cook that volunteers at the nursing home. Oprah gets no more credit for her philanthropy than Eli Broad simply because she is famous. Off topic but, I doubt any celebrity has build a building with the exception of Harrison Ford since they have become a success at their chosen profession.

I kinda would like to apologize for my immaturely/childish attack on the critics the "God, Are you Critics really THIS Dumb???!" part.

I disagreed so much upon reading that article, I just didn't act more maturely.

I just don't agree with the critics not getting the show, not thinking good enough, or overrated the show's intelligence. The critics may NOT really be that dumb for finding problems with the show, but me & a lot other people think the show is fine the way it is, could use a little improvement, but NO way that bad to firing two lead writers or not watch it! :)

the real problem is that when we humans expect too many from a show/movie and when it isn't what we hyped for is this what happens, people stopping seeing the shows, people leaving in the middle of a movie on the cinema, ....

and is up for whatever we like, for ex i dont like that much about Terminator the Sarah Connors Chronicles, simply isn't there for me and i loved T1, T2 and T3

and for that, Terminator Sarah Connors Chronicles isn't like the movies, i hyped about it for being like the movies but its too slow for me, so i dont like that much but i dont came here or go to various voting sites bashing the series because its here for who like it and from i see, many like it

and many people seems to forget that many was cut off on Season 2, many storys (for ex the resolution of Peters girlfriend) because of the writers strike and the season ending too early

so again, dont hype so much about something and simply watch the show, we dont get paid to analyze it, so after the work simply try to relax and see the show, you will like it

When I am excited about movies, and TV shows, no matter how excited/hype I seem to be about it, I try to keep it in check and not expect the second coming! :)

What makes Heroes season 1 so good is the fact that writers had a long term vision for the show. And that what is clearly missing in season 2 and the actual season. The more I watch the show the more I said to myself "they (ie the writers) don't know where they're going, and people starts noticing it".
