So I was thinking. Cap's shield. What we saw was..

Tony Stark had it in his lab Iron Man 1 and 2. It wasn't finished.

Howard Stark gave Cap the new Vibrainium shield during the war with Hydra.

So ... Does Tony make a new Shield for Cap or is it a huge mistake in either of those movies? Because from what I am seeing, there is no continuity so far.

The one that Tony found was in Howard Starks stuff, so it was probably a prototype.

I don't fully remember but in IM2 I think it was there was a screen that showed Black Panthers home of Wakanda where its associated...maybe they got more from there/him?

Maybe? Personally I don't see the point in having a new shield. The 'Howard Stark' shield already does everything it needs to be. It's not like Tony's shield is any better. lol.

It's been a while since I watched Cpt America, but in that movie I think I remember Howard Stark saying they experimented with different kinds of things for his shield.

Ok this is a stupid question but an important one... will this be in 2D also and not just ONLY 3D? I can't stand to watch a movie in 3D as I just don't get nothing out of it and the theater I go to is THX, DTS Audio, with stadium seating and concave screens for an awesome showing but I can't watch this in 3D so my only hope is they show both versions.

it will be in both 2d & 3d.
