Snowing In UK!

I wanna ask - every news site is saying to expect more in the midlands, and quite a lot too. Moreover, a few friends who work at the council offices say they are on alert for heavy snow.

I look out the window and it seems quite a mild day...

What gives?

Im guessing its because its a suspected storm. Its suppose to effect the whole of the country, however the middlands and the north are going to seee more of the snow.

The storm can come and go quickly, whereas general snow fall makes the sky look different and the cold feel, well, colder. The storm i believe can come in very quick, so what you are seeing now, may not be a reprisentation of what you will see later today.

Yeah same here, it was supposed to snow all day and we've had nothing so far.

More forecast for tomorrow and Wednesday, hope it doesn't!

I've gave up on forecasts to be honest... 90% of the time it's completely wrong.

The snow laid on the 8th and just been sitting everywhere turning ice until today now it's snowing again. :|

still snow from the 8th here in Leeds/Bradford, infact I drove up a hill this morning and could see the surrounding fields, all still white with snow... oh! it's snowing outside now too!

Yeah I've got the same over in Edinburgh...the snow from earlier in the week iced over and has now been covered in more snow :)

Apparently there's snow in East Anglia atm, which is cool, as I'm travelling back into Essex tomorrow ^_^

Yeah, we're getting a load more here in Kent. It's heavier than it was in the last spell, but it's meant to be clearing by midnight. Not looking forward to the ice in the morning though, I mean it's not like they're actually going to grit the roads this time.

Ive been teased badly :(

Last night it started snowing here about 8pm, later into the night it started to lay, i thought this is great!

woke up at 7am this morning only to be greeted with no snow, just everything wet like the snow turned to rain :(
