Iron Man 2 release date 7th May 2010

he's probably replying to the rumour I posted about Olivia Munn becoming Scarlett Witch but that's all it is a rumour

Yeah, Scarlet Witch is a cool character. It would be cool if she made an appearance. At least as a setup for Avengers... Iron Maiden I don't know, so hopefully she would be cool too. LOL

But this movie really looks amazing. I already have a friend lined up to go with me. hahaha

Just watched that trailer. It looks awesome. I must go see this moving on release day. I won't go to the midnight showing, but I'll be leaving directly after work to see it lol.

I've held off buying some of their stuff as its rather pricey, but I can't turn down that War Machine. I'll probably grab that and the new Iron Man suit when they post it.

yeah I think its time I built my shelf for some bad ass figurines!

Did we already post this? I can't find it, if so. In any case, the May 2010 issue of Total Film includes an interview with Mickey "Whiplash" Rourke, in which he seems to give away the fate of his character:

Well, the only thing I can tell you is that they had decided to kill me and we did film it with Gwyneth Paltrow. And then they came to New Mexico and re-shot it and now it's left up in the air?

Olivia Munn is featured on the cover of "Complex" magazine's April/May issue (see the cover, gallery & article) and she talks about how she got a completely new role in Iron Man 2. Here's an excerpt from the interview:

You're in two gigantic movies this year. Let's talk about Iron Man 2 first because it's f*cking Iron Man 2.

Olivia Munn: Actually, they just gave me another role in the film. I had to reshoot all of my scenes.

Wait, didn't they start filming like last year or something?

Olivia Munn: Yeah, but as they started to edit they realized it was becoming darker than what they'd expected and what my scenes had allowed for. My parts were lighthearted and comedic.

Yikes.

Olivia Munn: Jon Favreau called and was like, "I've got good news and bad news: This is what's happening in editing but we all really like you." Marvel and Jon had to add another character from the Marvel universe to keep me included.

I need details! Tell us anything about the old or new role.

Olivia Munn: I can't talk specifics because it's Iron Man 2! But when they call, you say, "OK, I'm there. What do you need?" You don't say, "Who is this Marvel? Did you call my agent? Is FIJI Water on set?" Everyone knows who the stars are in this movie. I'm not one of them and I understand the editing process. Some things don't work out.

What if you'd stayed on the cutting room floor?

Olivia Munn: I would've started crying.

Why has his suit changed? :S

He had to make a new centrepiece because the original wasn't powerful enough. He also had to make a new suit because the original wasn't strong enough. As for the triangle piece, I'm sure there's a comic explanation but it could be due to all the iron man knockoffs and an attempt to distinguish himself from the rest.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
