Iron Man 2 release date 7th May 2010

We have been given an exclusive first look at a new viral website for Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment?s Iron Man 2. The website, located at starkexpo2010.com/accutech, is for AccuTech Research & Development, a subsidiary of Stark Industries. Accutech will premiere a breakthrough in anthropo-robotics ? the new HazTech robotic exoskeleton, at Stark Expo 2010.

Using revolutionary hyper-sensors and nano-hydraulic technology, the exoskeleton is able to detect and amplify body movement. Covering over 80% of the human body, it also protects its wearer from high impact and extreme temperatures.

Last week Marvel launched a viral website for Iron Man 2 promoting the 2010 Stark Expo. Yesterday we got a first look at the website for AccuTech Research & Development, a subsidiary of Stark Industries. At the time the website was revealed, all we knew is that Accutech will premiere a breakthrough in anthropo-robotics ? the new HazTech robotic exoskeleton, at Stark Expo 2010. Today we have a few new developments, including a memo from Tony Stark and a possible first look at the logo for The Avengers.

First up, Marvel.com has released a letter from Tony Stark, announcing the return of Stark Expo this year.

Also, our friends at BleedingCool have noticed that the Accutech logo that appears very breifly in the video on the Accutech website looks familiar:

And here is the logo for The Avengers from the comic books (not the movie?):

Stay After the Credits!

Of course, we?ve suspected that Iron Man 2 will likely be no different. Speculation/Details will be kept after the jump, for those who want to be free of possible spoilers.

Our Italian friends at BadTaste claim to have confirmed information about the sequence, which will be found after the Iron Man 2 credits. For those of you who can?t read Italian, here is what they said:

A 100% trusted source (NOT from the production/distribution, but very familiar with the movie) confirmed us today that there will be an easter egg in IM2. It?s an extra scene, just like the one in the first movie, after the end credits. We are able to tell you what?s about! It?s a scene about? Captain America and Thor! Maybe this doesn?t seem a big reveal, but it?s nice to have a confirmation.
