yeah probably should of put a source...I didnt notice them myself seeing as I haven't even seen the movie!

Saw it the other day. I think I liked the first better. Origin stories are a plus, pacing was nicer and it had Jeff Bridges! However 2 was really awesome. It seemed a bit hectic and mixed up. Hard to keep up with a solid storyline. Still entertaining and Scarjo is mmm appealing ;)

Kicking off the official summer movie season, IM2 already has earned $194M overseas from almost 60 territories where it opened before the U.S. and Canada, so that's a $327M worldwide cume. Top grossing countries were Britain and Korea with $23M each. Here's the Top 10:

Friday $52.4M, Saturday $46.5M, Weekend $133.6M, Cume $327M

Friday $1.7M, Saturday $2.8M, Weekend $6.7M, Cume $201.0M

4. Date Night (Fox) Week 5 [2,734 Runs]

Friday $1.6M, Saturday $2.3M, Weekend $5.3M, Estimated Cume $80.8M

10. Babies (Focus Features) NEW [534 Runs]

Friday $381K, Saturday $689K, Estimated Weekend $1.5M

The movie was defiantly worth it, the special effects were amazing in my opinion. I have only really two gripes with the movie (spoiler alert)

1. Mickey Rourke (Ivan Vanko) - When he was rammed on the race course, what was protecting him from a pretty much lethal crushing injury??? as far as I could see there was no lower torso protection at all.

2. The last *big* fight was really disappointing between Iron Man/War Machine and Ivan Vanko. Way too short and really just a uninspiring right.

Other then these minor issue I did really enjoy the rest of the movie and a must summer see movie.

I went to see it last night. I'm sorry but although it had it's funny and entertaining moments, it sucked compared to the first one. There was way too much dialog and not enough Iron Man action. Mickey Rourke's character hardly had any screen time. Iron Man's action scenes were very short, especially the final battle with the Rourke character. Too much Tony Stark and not enough Iron Man. They spent too much time on dialogs.

^ I'd say that a bit over critical but I agree with your complaints. It was 90% Stark, 10% Iron Man. Scarlett indeed stood out, as did Rockwell. Loved his little dance at the Expo. The action sequences were really short which was underwhelming, but it's no surprise neither could take on Iron Man, he needs a worthy foe. I wasn't annoyed with the amount of dialog but I would like to see more Iron Man sequences. Not necessarily fighting as you don't want pure action. But I did enjoy the scenes of him flying around and taking out small groups of baddies in the first.

All I can say is it ended with many of the boring and annoying problems solved. Meaning the 3rd should be able to hit the ground running. This was more about character development and dealing with the aftermath of the first. As awesome as Whiplash was, he felt under-utilized.

For those complaining about all Stark and not enough Iron Man....Tony Start IS Iron man!!! Haha

No but really, how is there not enough Iron Man? He was in the suit most of the time. Sometimes even just for the hell of it. I thought there was decent exposure of both. If there's one thing that there isn't enough of, it's Scarlett. Damn she was hot.

Stark and Iron Man are quite different. Made more evident when Fury

declines Stark but accepts Iron Man to join Avengers.

Stark is a cocky, party guy who rarely thinks of others. Whereas Iron Man is the hero who fights to protect others. In the first he was very honourable, in the second he was mostly drunk ****ing around. Now it was entertaining sure, but I wanted to see the hero more. It focused too much on Tony dealing with being Iron Man and not enough about Iron Man dealing with the villains of the marvel universe.

Fyi...

In the comic, Tony Stark does go through a stage of heavy drinking...which is where Rhodes came in to wear the iron man suit while Tony was incapacitated some of the time...

So the drunken reckless behaviour was straight out of the comic...lol

yeah but he was drunk because there was a party. I'm not sure in the comic though... I think he drinks all the time, that is why War Machine takes over for a bit.

    • Windows 11 KB5094126 BSODing, freezing, forcing BitLocker lockout, breaks OneDrive, and more by Sayan Sen Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 last week as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. While Microsoft has so far not acknowledged any major problems with the release, some users online are running into problems. These range from OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, BitLocker recovery lockouts, to blue screens and BSODs. The most common one seems to be happening with HP systems wherein affected users say they hit 0xc0430001 BSOD (blue screen of death) error code after the KB5094126 update. We wonder if this could be related to the recent bug we covered on HP devices wherein the ongoing Secure Boot certificate updates are leading to similar issues. While we are not certain, users affected by this issue likely need to ensure that the boot.stl file is included on the installation media (such as a USB installer or ISO), if the above-mentioned dynamic updates are deployed. If this file is missing, computers may fail to boot from the installation media and could display the error 0xc0430001. This STL file is used by Secure Boot to verify that the boot files are trusted, so it must match the same Windows version and system architecture. To ensure the file is included, Microsoft recommends using the Update WinPE script, which automatically updates the image and handles the required files. Alternatively, you can manually copy the boot.stl file from the Windows\Boot\EFI folder on a Windows device and place it in the matching folder on your installation media before deploying the updated image. Aside from blue screening some users also note their systems have been freezing following the update. In the case of the OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, a user figured out that there could be a conflict with UAC. He explained: "Okay, so I did some digging, and in our environment KB5094126 breaks OneDrive and Dropbox in Explorer. I went through all our GPOs and found out that the combination of disabling UAC and having my user being a local admin breaks OneDrive in Explorer. ... If I enable UAC again, then it works, even with KB5094126 still installed." Hopefully, Microsoft will look into these issues. • It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
