Iron Man 2 release date 7th May 2010

yeah but he was drunk because there was a party. I'm not sure in the comic though... I think he drinks all the time, that is why War Machine takes over for a bit.

That drunk scene was absolutely unnecessary and stupid. Iron Man did not get enough screen time and neither did Whiplash. I went to see the movie to see Iron Man fight Whiplash and the other robots, not see Tony Stark for 1 hour and 30 minutes talking, drinking and being stupid and yes, I agree that Scarlett did not get much screen time as Black Widow either. They need to do better on Iron Man 3. More super hero action and less talk.

Fyi...

In the comic, Tony Stark does go through a stage of heavy drinking...which is where Rhodes came in to wear the iron man suit while Tony was incapacitated some of the time...

So the drunken reckless behaviour was straight out of the comic...lol

yeah Fav said he would touch on it in this movie only, and with the mention of the 10 rings Madarin would be in the 3rd movie.

What Easter eggs? Enlight us.

Yup. It was totally worth watching it again on the big screen. Funny that I picked up a $10 bill on the floor after the movie.

Stark and Iron Man are quite different. Made more evident when Fury

declines Stark but accepts Iron Man to join Avengers.

Stark is a cocky, party guy who rarely thinks of others. Whereas Iron Man is the hero who fights to protect others. In the first he was very honourable, in the second he was mostly drunk ****ing around. Now it was entertaining sure, but I wanted to see the hero more. It focused too much on Tony dealing with being Iron Man and not enough about Iron Man dealing with the villains of the marvel universe.

+1. I completely agree.

Collider have come across the following art and information about a limited edition release of Iron Man 2 on blu-ray which will be limited to 30,000 copies and on sale at Target.

v8pz88.jpg

•Each case is individually numbered, with printing stamped into the metal on the top right corner

•3D Lenticular cover image features the MARK-IV Iron Man suit

•Interior image is Target’s exclusive image of Tony Stark’s "Hall of Armor"

•The back of the case includes both Iron Man and War Machine

•Blu-ray sized metal case, from MetalPak, holds all 3 discs

Sounds pretty great huh? However, with a price tag of $34.99 is that a little more than you're willing to pay? Share your thoughts on this in the usual place and pick up your copy of the Marvel Studios blockbuster on September 28th!

Ahh bum - I was hoping they would produce a big Iron Man head like they did for Terminator Salvation :(

(BTW - and THAT was the only reason I bought TS on bluray!)

(Sorry for the huge size of the pic - haven't figured out how to get pics onto here without plagiarising from some poor sods website!!)

haha they should give away the briefcase suit in a whizbang special edition!

Not sure if I can justify purchasing this when it comes out - I've got waaay to many Blu-Rays pre-ordered at the moment:

  • Back to the Future Trilogy
  • Lost - Complete S1 - S6
  • Metropolis
  • Inception: LE

So that, combined with the fact that while I enjoyed the film - I didn't love it, means I'll, sadly, most likely wait until it's in the "2 for ?20" promotions.

Though the DVD & Blu-ray release of the highly anticipated Iron Man 2 blockbuster, isn't until next week, September 28th; a good friend RealIrOnMaN of Spidermedia, has come in contact with the blu-ray and it's glorious features.

Up front admiring the sequel's DVD menu, compared to the original film's bland menu, he says one feature consists of director Jon Favreau discussing the near-ending scene with Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury & Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark; discussing none other than the Avenger initiative, described as "geek heaven".

"Yeah, that's from "The Incredible Hulk" (news report on S.H.I.E.L.D monitor), which means it took place before "TIH". If you look you see the the crater on the other monitor, that's the "Thor" thing. That's where the hammer was recovered. This is just a geek heaven here.

And if you think that anything on this monitors is not something we (in Marvel) didn't talk about for hours - you are crazy! And if you look on that one, see there is a map up there, so... if you look at those maps, each one of those locations corresponds to something in the Marvel Universe. I'm not supposed to say that.

And if you look on each one, and I know what they mean, but I'm not gonna say it, but I'm gonna say this: Two of them relate to "The First Avenger: Captain America", One of them relates to "Thor", and the one in Africa relates to Black Panther."

Courtesy of my buddy "RealIronMan" of Spidermedia, we have a first full look at the scene featured in all the trailers, that is now only an alternate opening for the Iron Man 2. it's a low resolution, but cool enough for you to check it out below. And in addition to this, hes also unveiled a few deleted scenes that should have been in the movie.

As promised above, here are a few other deleted scenes from the film, that I honestly think would've given that same feeling from the first film, and fit with the sequel.

    • Nice, hope they *finally* fixed the issue with the NTFS driver where the system would completely brick during large file copies using the built in driver. It's been broken for years requiring me to use the older, slower, NTFS-3G FUSE driver.
    • Windows 11 KB5094126 BSODing, freezing, forcing BitLocker lockout, breaks OneDrive, and more by Sayan Sen Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 last week as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. While Microsoft has so far not acknowledged any major problems with the release, some users online are running into problems. These range from OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, BitLocker recovery lockouts, to blue screens and BSODs. The most common one seems to be happening with HP systems wherein affected users say they hit 0xc0430001 BSOD (blue screen of death) error code after the KB5094126 update. We wonder if this could be related to the recent bug we covered on HP devices wherein the ongoing Secure Boot certificate updates are leading to similar issues. While we are not certain, users affected by this issue likely need to ensure that the boot.stl file is included on the installation media (such as a USB installer or ISO), if the above-mentioned dynamic updates are deployed. If this file is missing, computers may fail to boot from the installation media and could display the error 0xc0430001. This STL file is used by Secure Boot to verify that the boot files are trusted, so it must match the same Windows version and system architecture. To ensure the file is included, Microsoft recommends using the Update WinPE script, which automatically updates the image and handles the required files. Alternatively, you can manually copy the boot.stl file from the Windows\Boot\EFI folder on a Windows device and place it in the matching folder on your installation media before deploying the updated image. Aside from blue screening some users also note their systems have been freezing following the update. This could be happening to Lenovo PCs specifically. In the case of the OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, a user figured out that there could be a conflict with UAC. He explained: "Okay, so I did some digging, and in our environment KB5094126 breaks OneDrive and Dropbox in Explorer. I went through all our GPOs and found out that the combination of disabling UAC and having my user being a local admin breaks OneDrive in Explorer. ... If I enable UAC again, then it works, even with KB5094126 still installed." Hopefully, Microsoft will look into these issues. • It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
