Creating sub domains in IIS 6

I created a website in IIS using host headers subdomain.domain.com and I get an error HTTP403. It is not working. How do I create subdomains in IIS?

I currently am hosting five websites in IIS 6 using host headers. My issue is that I am unable to get subdomains to work.

And do these subdomains resolve? where are they resolving at? PM me one -- and i will see what it resolves too.

There is no difference between hosting www.sub.domain.tld and www.domain.tld

A 403 error is access denied / forbidden error.

IIS doesn't distinguish between domain.com and subdomain.domain.com. They are all websites in its metabase.

If you are getting 403, it seems to have resolved but its a permissions issue. Check the configuration of the website in IIS
