Sonic Unleashed (PS3/X360) delayed in Japan to improve quality

Those with true skill on S3+k could get all 7 emeralds in the first 2 zones AND get all the rings in each of the special stages...

Yeah I've been known to do that. I was such a Sonic nerd in my early teens ha ha

1UPYours tore this an absolute new one.

Said there's far too much Werehog crap (60% of the game), and many other issues.

They did say some of the Sonic bits are good, but even some of them have problems.

Conclusion, if it were all Sonic, not any Werehog, it would've just been a decent game.

Not sounding good :(

Listen to the 1UP Yours episode if you want, it's harsh but, it's like 5-10 minutes of constant rant about how much is wrong.

ps. Also, "Some enemies you can only kill by doing God of War Quicktime Events" ....

I have a friend who's a die-hard Sega fan. Loves the dreamcast more than anything else to this day, that sort of thing. Even he struggles to name more than 1 or 2 decent Sega developed games in like the last 5 years.

I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.

Played this on the 360, it's absolutely stinking (N)

They delayed it in Japan? Should've been delayed everywhere, or not even made.

It really that bad?

I really dislike it, but I've hated the past x amount of sonic games, right back to the dreamcast ones, which I thought were good, but still not as good as 2D.

As always though, probably best to try yourself.

When the first screens and game play videos where released I thought it looked great, however I didn?t really get my hopes up about it been any good... let?s be honest Sega haven?t made a good game since Sonic Adventure 2 Battle as much as I hate to admit it, Sonic Unleashed is another in a long line of disappointments.

The intro was great, as was the first action level but then you get to the crappy city, why do Sega keep adding RPG elements to Sonic games? No one cares! its boring and a waste of time, Sonic is about speed and action! This game actually does that well but the music, story, rpg elements are wearhog stuff destroy the game.

RIP Sonic.

Man i wonder what you guys think about the Next Sonic game (Wii only)

This idea is worse than unleashed. I can't say so officially but it seems that Sega is only looking for profit.

    • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two.
