Awesome! Such a huge fan of this show.

It's a shame Richmond won't be making an appearance in this season, he was hilarious.v

 why bother making another seasons with Richard Ayoade.

edit: cant find any news saying he wont be on season 3

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet; btw who remembers this?

Roy: We were just wondering now that you're 'the boss', would you like us to access the data supplier and connect you up to The Matrix?

Jen: You just made all that up.

Roy: [snapping] You don't know anything about computers! Admit it!

Jen: Will you stop trying to undermine me?! Now get in there and do some work to do with computers! I'll be out in a minute to check up on you!

One of the best bits from early in season 1, brilliant show. :) not to mention that laugh out loud 999 spoof advert, omg i laughed so hard at that.

I do :)

But you know what, there was a German version of the IT Crowd called the "iTeam". And well, basically they re-filmed all scenes but somehow managed to make everything *not* funny. In this scene for example, Jen eavesdropped and got to know Roy's plan. Consequently she answers "You just made all that up". In the German version, however, she admits that she doesn't know anything about Computers. I have absolutley no idea why they did that... For more references search for "iTeam" on youtube ;)

I am so excited. I love British comedy. It's so much better than this American crap we're fed.

I'm really glad I stumbled upon this show. These guys are brilliant.

The Big Bang Theory is pretty good. And actually very accurate when it comes to computer terms, technology and actually having a plugged in tv / computer. Most shows these days try to get in touch with kids by showing people playing games, on their PC, which is usually never plugged in.

The IT Crowd, and TBBT are pretty good for this

Denholm: [answers phone] Hello? What? Well if you can't work as a team you're all fired. That's it, you heard me, fired! Get your things and go.

Denholm: [redials phone] Hello, security? Everyone on floor 4 is fired. Escort them from the premises. And do it as a team. Remember, you're a team and if you can't act as a team, you're fired too.

Denholm: [redials phone] Dom, get on to recruitment. Get them to look for a security team that can work as a team. They may have to escort the current security team from the building for not acting like a team.

You know I run an I.T department, and its absoloutely shocking how similar I.T crowd is to my job

The scene where the guy cannot get his laptop to open was hilarious. I can recall at least twice I've had to open a lenovo laptop for someone because they were too thick to find the catch on the front!

I do :)

    • Looks like the 7.1 is fake effects, can it at least do real 5.1? It says 'virtual 7.1' in all descriptions.
    • You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.
    • Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
