Well its not a resolution issue, more like an images missing issue, some images are not displayed so I just get the empty spaces where the images are supposed to be loaded, additionally I get an IE script error saying the page cannot be displayed properly because of html error.

Exactly, but you know what? it looks like it doenst happen all the time, I just tried reloading the page and it just worked fine, looks like they have problems loading some of the graphics they try to display.

I cant believe a compay with so much money and employes allows their web portal, one of the most popular ones on the net too to look like that. Come on they dont test their site with the most popular browser available?

Have you installed KaZaA Lite? Did you choose to install the host file thing so that AOL Ads wouldn't be displayed? Or have you changed your Hosts file.. well, hence why the ads and site won't show correctly :)

p.s. doubleclick is what runs AOL ads (on the aol.com site with the 'this page cannot be displated' bit), apparently

Who cares?? Its an AOL site. Why would you want to go their in the first place. Of what possible use could it be? If their whole network went offline - who would notice? Except maybe the net would be faster for the lack of spam flowing from aol addresses would be gone.

Suggestion - if for whatever crazy reason you have some type of AOL account that you need access to this site. Drop that account, then you will not care what their site looks like, or if it is online ;)

Actually I descovered what the actual problem is, StevoFC You probably have installed Kazaa Lite like I did, this program its latest version places a file at:

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\

called 'hosts' that file 'blocks' anything that comes from those sites, basically it pretends to save your butt from all the advertisment that comes from there, but really it messes up MANY websites which displays adds containing images on those domains.

Sites like AOL.COM , MSN.COM , BellSouth.NET and many others will be affected by this file, Personally I removed it from my system, Geeh I was about to reformat thinking something was really messed up with my system , been looking for the problem for days, DSL connection, Internet Explorer settings, Added/Removed SUN java , Used system restore, well hell till I remebered about this dam file. It was responsable for all the pages not loading properly.

Im not blaming them, they try to save you from the adds, but geeh if it going to affect your entire system like that they should at least warn you.
