Birthday calendar

Recommended Posts

Hi!

Why can't I insert simple birthday events in my calendar? It simply doesn't allow me, actually it's greyed out and I can insert only simple events.

But I want is to insert birthday events with a birth day (year, month, day) and set a reminder. That's all. The other things should be done automatically (recurrence - well, 1 year...).

You know it has a Birthday calendar included automatically, but without the option to use it. I found that my birthday is entered by it, but I can't make any new entries.

Please help me if you can!

Thanks!

The birthday calender is auto generated from your contact list.

*In your contact list find the person you want to add a birthday for and go to edit their details.

*Birthday details are right at the bottom useing the web interface or useing the client its under personal. If you have msn installed can edit contacts from there too.

Now when you go into your calender their birthdays will be entered.

Hope this helped.

i personally only read the first page of the forums so if your post falls behind that i and i am sure other people won't get to read it... simply don't have enough time to check the last 5 pages of posts for one that i can help with. it's a good idea to bump a few days but you have to be nice about it or you will hear this and a lot less nice things from people.

No, you don't understand me. I don't want to add all my friends and relatives as contacts... (my grandma would love it... :D). I need a birthday calendar. I just want to enter the name, the birthday, and a reminder time, and thats all.

And I want it in Windows Live Calendar. Why is it a big wish? (<-- @Microsoft)
