Mail crashing every time.

Hey guys,

SO I'm having problems with my mail. Every time I open the app, it automatically quits and then gives me an error report window.

I had this after my Mac crashed for 2 times 2 days ago. I had to switch it off though the force shut down button (Power button). I dont seem to understand how it crashed on me TWICE!!! I just had my regular programs running. Nothing out of the extra-ordinary.

I've got 2 Gmails and 1 of my School email ids set up on it.

Anyways, I really need to fix my mail. I tried googling it but didnt really help so I'm here seeking help from u guys. :)

Have you recently added iCal To-Do items? if so, try and delete them and then try to open your mail.

I had this same issue before and that was the solution. Good Luck.

I did have to-do items added already since like 3 months. I also tried to delete my to-dos form my iCal. But still it crashes. :(

Any more help? :(

Did you install any add ons and such recently--like letterbox?

Delete the plist files.

How about if you hold down SHIFT when you launch mail? Does that let you back into Mail?

Yes it still crashes.

Yes so it works now! But it also deleted my mail accounts. Will set them up again :)
