Game Trailers Previews (Batman, Wanted, Punisher, F.E.A.R. 2)

Lots of cool exclusives in this one -- I think everyone knows my obsession with F.E.A.R. 2, but the new Wanted game really looks great. The Batman game looks pretty good graphically as well... Punisher.... ehhh... not so much.

What's funny about the Batman game is it's comic book-based, but it uses some of the movie's music (or at least an imitation of it)... looks like it's trying to cash in on that, obviously ;)

I'm hoping wanted can be the next Max Payne. I know the story will be awful but hopefully it can make up in spades of gameplay. The Punisher game was always going to be a flop tbh.

Wow, the Wanted game surprised me, that's for sure. It's not just another crappy movie to game adaptation, it's actually its own story and everything. It looks pretty cool.

It's being made by GRIN Studios, the guys that made the PC versions of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. They're also making the new Terminator game and the new Bionic Commando game (and they made the XBLA remake).

Well they look to be doing a damn fine job with this one, hopefully it lives up to my expectations now :p

The Batman trailer was disappointing. I want to know what the game is like, not just see a bunch of shots of Arkham :/

They're probably not that far along yet -- not wanting to show stuff that's so unfinished that people get mad ;)

Disagreed. Create publicity for your game, but don't show off anything that you don't think is indicative of the final work you wish to publish. People are just going to think it's another crappy game if you release placeholder/largely unfinished work :) While it may have disappointed you, it didn't make you not want to buy the game... just teased you ;)

i was suprised by wanted too. looks really good., and so does fear 2(gotta finish the first one still hehe).

Punisher didn't look good at all to me. but the batman looks interesting, atleast what was shown.
